RESOLUTION NO. 2294
.00~ A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT
APPROVING PROJECT
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
WASTEWATER FACILITIES PLANNING PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the South
Tahoe Public Utility District that:
(1) The Facility Plan for the South Tahoe Public
Utility District Wastewater Treatment System, dated May
1978, and the Facility Plan Update, dated February 1981,
as well as proposed minor changes in Alpine County, have
been presented to the Board of Directors of the South
Tahoe Public Utility District.
(2) The Final Environmental Impact Report for the
South Tahoe Public Utility District Facility Plan Program,
dated March 1979, the Environmental Impact Statement of
the Wastewater Treatment Facilities of the South Shore
Lake Basin, dated February 1981, and the Final Supplemental
Environmental Impact Report for the South Tahoe Public
Utility District Wastewater Facilities Plan Program, dated
May 1983, have been presented to and certified by the
Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District.
(3) Changes or alterations required in or required to
be incorporated into the project to avoid or reduce to an
acceptable level significant effects identified in the Final
Environmental Impact Report, Final Environmental Impact
Statement and Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Report,
have been ordered changed and incorporated into said project.
(4) The recommended alternative in the Facility Plan Update
is hereby approved with the changes incorporated therein or-
dered by Resolution No. 2292 - A Resolution of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District Ordering Changes or Alterations in
and Incorporated into Project - South Tahoe Public Utility
District Wastewater Facilities Planning Program, heretofore
adopted this date as the approved project.
(5) Resolution No. 2293 - A Resolution of the South
Tahoe Public Utility District making findings that Changes
or Alterations in or Incorporated into Project have been
Required Which Avoid or Reduce to an Acceptable Level Signi-
ficant Effects Within the Responsibility and Jurisdiction of
District and Making Findings that other Changes or Alterations
Required to Avoid or Reduce to an Acceptable Level Significant
Effects Within the Responsibility and Jurisdiction of Other
Public Agencies have been, Can and Should be Adopted by Such
Other Agencies and Statement of Overriding Considerations -
South Tahoe Public Utility District Wastewater'Facilities
Planning Program - is incorporated herein by reference and
deemed included as a part of the record of the aforesaid
project approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duly held adjourned meeting of
the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility
District held on the 12th day of May, 1983, by the follow-
ing vote:
AYES: Directors Kashuba, Olsen, Jones, Wynn and Madden.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
