Y RESOLUTION NO. 2242 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ACCEPTING AND FILING A NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION FOR SMALL VEHICLE STORAGE BUILDING -PHASE I OF HEADSTART PROGRAM IMPROVEMENTS W.R. THOMASON, INC. RESOLVED by the BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, that: WHEREAS, the District Consulting Engineer, William F. Ettlich, CULP/WESNER/CULP, has filed with the CLERK OF SAID DISTRICT, his certificate of substantial completion for the SMALL OPEN VEHICLE STORAGE BUILDING, PHASE I OF HEADSTART IMPROVEMENTS (W. R. THOMASON, INC.) as to the work thus far completed under the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, and said NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION, hereby attached, and WHEREAS, it appears to the satisfaction of the Board of Directors that said work under said contract has been SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETED as of JANUARY 25, 1982. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED: (1) That acceptance of substantial completion of said work be, and it is hereby made and ordered, as described above, substantially completed. (2) That the CLERK OF BOARD of said DISTRICT is directed to execute and file with the COUNTY OF EL DORADO, THE NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION, as requir~ law. J es R. Contract Headstart Program Improvements - Phase I The work performed under this contract has been reviewed and found to be sub- stantially complete. The date of substantial completion is designated as January 25, 1982 The designated area or scope of work is Small Open Vehicle Storage Building. This date represents the commencement of any warranties or guarantees under the conditions of the contract that are connected with the above on!y. The Date of Substantial Completion of the work is the date certified by the Engineer and approved by the Resident Engineer when construction is sufficiently complete in accordance with the contract documents to allow for the uninter- rupted start and completion of subsequent subsystems in accordance with the Construction Schedule. A list of items to be completed or corrected, prepared by the Resident ' Engineer and verified and amended by the Engineer, is attached. The failure *r' to include any items on such list does not alter the responsibility of the Contractor to complete all work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Patch large holes in concrete (over 1" in diameter) and patch honeycombing at base of columns where lst and 2nd lift meet. 2. Remove concrete droppings on stem wall top under windows. 3. Remove nails embedded in stem wall and in Column #7 from left. 4. Remove wood block from window eyebrow and patch hole with concrete. 5. Chip off excess concrete at top of Columns 3,7,8,9,10 & 11 from left. 6. Trim stem wall at base of future north doorway on east side and add + 3/4" to stem wall on east side of doorway. 7. Repair chipped block at south doorway. . 8. Replaster inside top of walls, just under metal decking, to a smooth straight surface cut flush at the top or cover top of wall with a painted timber trim strip. 9. Replace missing and cracked mortar in blockwork joints at inside lower NW and upper SE corners of building. 10. Blow off hydromulch blobs off of outside west wall. 11. Tack down bent out window edge cover strips on four windows. r 12. Clean windows. 13. Replace bubbled up caulk at east end of floor joints. 14. Paint unpainted and too thinly painted column bumper and threshold angle iron strips (coating thickness of painted bumper guards is 2-3 mil. while 5 mil. minimum is required). 15. Paint electrical panel, conduit and brackets. 16. Touch up areas of eaves soffits which were stained white by over- spraying black moisture sealer. 17. Touch up thin stain spots along eaves soffits. 18. Replace glass covers over four of the six outside lights. 19. Outside light over south door requires photo electric on/off cell. 20. Extreme north front outside light and outside light over north doorway do not work. 21. Circuit breaker identification table required inside Panel L-5 door. 22. Cover plates required over light switches at north and south walls.
