7 BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the South
8 Tahoe Public Utility District that:
9 1. A Notice of Determination for the South Tahoe Public
10 Utility District - Community College Well Project shall be executed
11 by the President of the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
12 Utility District in the form attached.hereto, incorporated herein
13 and made a part hereof, and filed with the Secretary of Resources

14 and County Clerk of El Dorado County.
15 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of
16 Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District held on the

PROJECT LOCATION:
The Community College Well Project is located on the
southeast portion of the Lake Tahoe Community College property
near the wastewater reclamation plant of South Tahoe Public
Utility District in the City of South Lake Tahoe, County of E1
Dorado, State of California, and located within the Lake Tahoe
7J' topographic quadrangle of the U. S. Geological Service, and
on El Dorado County Assessor's Parcel Nos. 25-010-24/25-010-34/
25-04M-10/31-OllpO2.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project will develop a new 2.0 million gallon per
day domestic water well, together with appurtenant housing
structures therefor, and an access road thereto from Johnson
Road on the aforementioned real property. The project will also
provide for construction of a new water main to connect said new
domestic well from said well to Johnson Road and to the existing

major water lines of South Tahoe Public Utility District on
both Al Tahoe Boulevard and Black Bart Avenue. These major
water lines both connect to the 19 inch main trunk water
line of said District along Pioneer Trail. The new domestic
water well will provide domestic water service to the future
Lake Tahoe Community College on the entire parcel of real
property on which the well is located, and additional domestic
water service and fire protection flows for the South Tahoe
Public Utility District water system.
This is to advise that the South Tahoe Public Utility
District has approved the above described project and has made
the following determinations regarding the above described
project:
1. The project will have a significant effect on
the environment.
2. An Environmental Impact Report was prepared for
this project pursuant-to the provisions of CEQA
and wits certified as required by 14 California
Administration Code Section 15085(8). The
following mitigation measures were adopted by
South Tahoe Public Utility District to reduce
significant effects of the project to an
i, acceptable level.

B. Approval of the recommended alternative
project, Alternative 2.0 MGD, in the Project
Report dated January, 1981, by Resolution
No. 2 2 1 6 , A Resolution of the South
Tahoe-PUBTI-e Mility District Approving
Project - South Tahoe Public Utility District -
Community College Well Project - Alternative
2.0 MGD, a certified copy of which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein and made a part
hereof.
A copy of the Final Environmental Impact Report
and the record of the project approval may be
examined at the South Tahoe Public Utility District
plant off Johnson Road from Black Bart Avenue in
the City of South Lake Tahoe, County of E1 Dorado,
State of California.
3. A Statement of Overriding Consideration was
adopted for this project.
