RESOLUTION NO. 2212
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT ACCEPTING THE PROPOSED
MITIGATION PROGRAM, COLLEGE WELL PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the SOUTH
TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, that:
OBJECTIVE: Not exceed 5104 AF/YR (allocation proposed by State
Water Resources Control Staff) until TRPA Environmental Threshold
Carrying Capacity Study and Revised Regional Plan and Ordinances
are completed, and until a Revised Water Allocation is approved
by the State Water Resources Control Board.
MITIGATION PROGRAM: South Tahoe Public Utility District adopts the
following actions:
(1) Establishment of a water service commitment
accounting system which will include the following
items:
(a) Listing of active water accounts
(b) listing of "Will Serve" commitments
(c) estimate of annual production with
existing active water accounts and "Will
Serve" commitments
(d) estimate of remaining capacity and allow-
%W able new connections
(2) Install a metering system to measure total diversions
to Nevada.
(3) Continue to monitor total water production by South Tahoe
Public Utility District
(4) Work with the South Shore Water Purveyors to implement
a comprehensive water conservation program

(5) Place on emergency standby use /status of the following
wells:

3. Pine Avenue 0.14
4. Ralph 0.04
5. Fountain #1 0.50
6. Fountain #2
7. Chris 0.17
8. Helen #1 0.16

RESOLUTION NO. 2212
The Utility District will report to the TRPA and the State Water
Resources Control Board should any of these wells be placed into
operation under an emergency condition. The capacity of these wells
will not be utilized in the computation of system capacit or determina-
tion of allowable connections until completion of the TRPA t ted Plan
and Revised Water Allocation is Approv the State Water Res urces
Control Board.
