Resolution No. 21421' 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 1 %r 27 29 RESOLUTION NO. 2142 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT THE EMERGENCY PUMP STATION WILL NOT BE UTILIZED IN THE ESTABIISHMENT OF TREATMENT PLANT CAPACITY WHEREAS, the District is desirous of constructing the Emergency Pump Station as a feature of the Federal /State Grant funded "Head- Start" program, and WHEREAS, the State is concerned that the Pump Station could be utilized by the District to increase the plant treatment capacity, and WHEREAS, the "Head- Start" plant improvements are not to be utilized for capacity increase. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Tahoe Public Utility District requests that the State of California approve the Emergency Pump Station as a feature of the grant funded "Head- Start" project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the South Tahoe Public Utility District shall not use the Emergency Pump Station capabilities for flow equalization for the purpose of increasing the effective plant treatment capacity.
