RESOLUTION NO. 2051
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT DECLARING SURPLUS EQUIPMENT
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, State of California, as follows:
WHEREAS, a drill rig with equipment acquired with the acquisition
of the Tahoe Sierra Water Company, November 1, 1975, is surplus equipment
to said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the said Board as follows:
1. The Drill Rig mounted on a 1951 Dodge vehicle, ID No. 341583
CAL and equipment is declared surplus.
2. That the specifications for selling said Drill Rig, said specifi-
cations in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, are
hereby approved.
3. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for an advertisement for
sealed bids for selling of Drill Rig, said advertisement for bid to be in the
form of Exhibit B attached hereto and made a part hereof.

SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
DRILL RIG
Notice is heregy given that Sealed Bids will be received by the
Clerk of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, at the District
office, 1275 Meadow Crest Drive, (P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe,
CA 95705) Thursday, December 2,1976 at 4:00 P.M. for sale by
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT of surplus property.
The surplus property consists of one Drill Rig mounted on a 1951
Dodge Vehicle with equipment.
The Specifications and form of proposal are available in the office
of said District.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR
DRILL RIG
The equipment includes a 1951 Dodge vehicle, ID No. 341583
CAL with mounted drill rig; drill bits, 6", 8 " , 10", 12"; one swivel;
driveheads - 6", 8", 12 ", and bailers - 4", 6", 8", 10".
Sale of the Drill Rig and equipment by the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT is made without any warranty. The SOUTH TAHOE
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT has never used the equipment and has no
knowledge as to its usefulness or safety of its operation.
A deposit of ten percent (10 %) of the amount offered for purchase
must be included with the Proposal. If full payment is not made within
two weeks of notification said deposit will be forfeited and kept by the
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT. The next highest bidder will
then be offered the equipment. The deposit of all unsuccessful bidders
will be returned no later than January 7, 1977.
The Drill Rig and equipment can be inspected at the South Tahoe
Public Utility District well site on Tata Lane. All cost of transfer of
ownership shall be paid by the buyer. The Drill Rig and equipment is
being sold as is and must be transferred at the expense of buyer.
