A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH
TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR NOTICE TO
CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
WATER PROJECT MARTIN AVENUE WELL
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, as follows:
1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a Notice to Contractors
for sealed proposals for the construction of pumping facilities for an existing
900 -gpm domestic water well including minor earthwork, asphalt concrete,
access driveway and parking, 24' x 24' block building, 8 -inch cast iron piping,
installation of an owner furnished, constant speed well pump, installation of
an owner furnished natural gas engine, electrical, and other work; said Notice
to Contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
thereof.
2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said
District in South Lake Tahoe, California , at the treatment plant thereof (mailing
address - P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California 95705), until 2:00 o'clock
P.M. on March 20, 1975, at which time all proposals shall be publicly opened
and read.

INVITATION TO BID
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of South
Tahoe Public Utility District, Johnson Road near junction
with Black Bart Street, (P. 0. Box AU), South Lake Tahoe,
El Dorado County, California 95705, until 2:00 p.m. Pacific
Daylight Savings Time, 20 March 1975 at which time they will
be publicly opened and read for construction of

MARTIN AVENUE WELL
The work contemplated consists of the construction of pumping
facilities for an existing 900 -gpm domestic water well
including minor earthwork, asphalt concrete, access driveway
and parking, 24' x 24' block building, 8 -inch cast iron
piping, installation of an owner furnished, constant speed
well pump, installation of an owner furnished natural gas
engine, electrical, and other work.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the
Labor Code, State of California, the South Tahoe Public
Utility District has ascertained the general applicable
low prevailing wage rates to be as shown in the Contract Documents.
Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may
be obtained at the office of CH2M HILL, 1525 Court Street,
P. 0. Box 2088, Redding, California upon payment, nonrefundable,
of $15.00 per set. Contract Documents are available for
examination at the same office.
No Proposal will be accepted from a contractor who has not
been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791,
Statutes of 1929, as amended, or Chapter 37, Statutes of
1939, as amended, State of California. The South Tahoe Public
Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all
Proposals.
