Resolution No. 1905 l � l ikor RESOLUTION NO, 1905 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OF MAC STEIL AS WATER SYSTEM ADVISOR or RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, Mac Steil has been an employee and officer of the Tahoe Southside Water Utility for more than 13 years, and WHEREAS, the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT has acquired TAHOE SOUTHSIDE WATER UTILITY, effective September 1, 1974, and requires the services of Mac Steil for the transfer and continued efficient operation of the water utility: WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated and agreed to in the form attached hereto between the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT and MAC STEIL for his services; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows: That the President of the Board of Directors is hereby authorized to sign the agreement attached hereto and make a part of this resolution. Callahan, Cl- k and - officio Secretary of the Board SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT L 4 R. 1 AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this first day of September, 1974, by and between SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, hereinafter referred to as the CLIENT, and H. A. STEIL, 803 Modesto Avenue, South Lake Tahoe, California, hereinafter referred to as the ADVISOR. WITNES SETH THAT WHEREAS, the CLIENT requires advisory services concerning the operation, maintenance, and expansion of the Tahoe Southside Water Utility recently acquired by the CLIENT, and WHEREAS, the ADVISOR is qualified to provide such advisory services, NOW THEREFORE, the CLIENT and the ADVISOR for the consideration hereinafter named agree as follows: rr The ADVISOR shall perform any services which he is requested to provide by the Board of Directors of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT in connection with the water system enterprise. It is planned that the ADVISOR will work full time (3 5 hours per week) from September 1, 1974, until December 31 , 1974 , except that the ADVISOR may take not more than 2 weeks vacation with pay during this period. The ADVISOR will be paid at the rate of $1,2 00.00 per month for such full time services rendered. After the period of full time service, the ADVISOR agrees to make his services available on a half -time basis (20 hours per week) upon request of the CLIENT for a period of not to extend beyond July 1, 1975. The ADVISOR will be paid at the rate of $750.00 per month for such half time services rendered. The CLIENT and the ADVISOR agree that the length of such agreement for half time services shall be determined by mutual agreement on or before December 1, 1974.
