Resolution No. 1841 r � WO . r RESOLUTION NO. 1841 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FOREST SERVICE SEWER SYSTEM POPE BEACH BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, as follows: 1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a Notice to Contractors for sealed proposals for construction of sewers and appurtenances in the sizes and approximate quantities as follows: r 4 -inch pressure pipe 2,010 linear feet 6-inch lateral pipe 415 linear feet 6 -inch sewer pipe 2,350 linear feet sewer manholes 8 each wet well mounted pump stations 2 each; said Notice to Contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part thereof. 2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the treatment plant thereof (mailing address - P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California 95705), until 2 :00 o'clock P.M. on October 18, 1973, at which time all proposals shall be publicly opened and read. * * * * PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT on the 20th day of September 1973, by the following vote: AYES: Directors Fesler, Wakeman, Kortes, Ream and Hegarty NOES: None ABSENT: None FLA, Robert W. Callahan, Clerk and ex- Officio Secretary SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT 1 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received at the office of South Tahoe Public Utility District, P.O. Box AU, Johnson Road near junction with Black Bart Street, South Lake Tahoe, California until .2:00 p.m., October 18, 1973 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the construction of: SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT FOREST SERVICE SEWER SYSTEM POPE BEACH The work contemplated consists of installation of sewers and appurtenances in the sizes and approximate quantities as follows: 4 -inch pressure pipe 2,010 linear feet 6 -inch lateral pipe 415 linear feet 6 -inch sewer pipe 2,350 linear feet Sewer manholes 8 each Wet well mounted pump stations 2 each In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the general applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shown in the Contract Documents. Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be obtained at the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street, P.O. Box 2088, Redding, California, upon payment, non - refundable, of $10.00 per set. Contract Documents are available for examination at the same office. No proposal will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, Statutes of 1929, as amended, or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
