Resolution No. 1829 • RESOLUTION NO. 1829 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1676 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1971 -1 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, El Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, this Board did on April 6, 1972, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 1676, as subsequently amended, to acquire and construct public improvements in and for said District; WHEREAS, on June 21, 1973, this Board adopted a Resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice; WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated in the rr, manner provided by law, as appears from the certificates on file in the office of the Clerk; WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time therein fixed; and WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows: 1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements were signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses of said work. 2. That the finding, determination and order heretofore made by this Board that the proceedings undertaken by this Board for the acquisition and con- struction of said public improvements are necessary as a health measure be, II lir the same is, hereby expressly ratified and confirmed. 3.
