Resolution No. 1808 WJML:RJH:gb 8/10/72 8c • 4 11 I I I I e ) \'\ RESOLUTION NO. 1808 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING PROTESTS IN RELATION TO PROPOSED ACQUISITIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS, AND DIRECTING NOTICE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1971 -1 \\\ \ 'ESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility ]district, El Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1676 0 adopted on \April 6 , 1972, by the Board of Directors of said District, pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, the Dis- . ti trict Engineer of said District has filed with the Clerk of this District the written' called for under said act and by said iliw Resolution of Intentio which report has been presented by said Clerk to this Board for conside and this Board has considered and preliminarily approved and .onfirmed said report and ordered that the same stand as the report for he purpose of all subsequent proceed- ings had pursuant to said Resolution of Intention. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDE • that Thursday, the 12 day of July , 1973 at the hour • f 8:00 o'clock p.m., district office, Treatment Plant, Johnson Roa• near junction with Black Bart Street, Tahoe Valley, California (P.O. :.x AU, South Lake Tahoe, California 95705), be, and the same are =ppointed and fixed as the time and place when and where the Board wi 1 consider and finally de- termine whether the public interest, conveni-nce and necessity re- quire said acquisitions and improvements, and hen and where it will consider and finally act upon the engineer's re..rt under said Resolution of Intention. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk of this •'strict'be, and he is hereby.directed to give notice of said hearing o a week for two weeks in the Tahoe Daily Tribune, a newspaper pu and circulated in said District, and by conspicuously posting =. notice thereof along all the open streets within the assessment dis •ict ) -k--L.- cce_zcz,A 4, A4 //yeti at not more than three hundred feet apart, and not less than three• in all; said posting and first publication to be had and completed at least twenty days before the date herein set for hearing of pro- tests. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that said notices shall be headed "Notice of Improvement" in letters of not less than one inch in height and shall, in legible characters, state the fact and date of the passage of said Resolution of Intention and of the filing of said report and of the date, hour and place set for the hearing of said protests, and briefly describe the acquisitions and improve ments proposed to be made, And refer. to said Resolution of Inten- tion and report'for further particulars. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk of said District shall mail. or . cause to be mailed notice of the adoption of said Resolu- tion :ofintention and the filing of said report, postage prepaid, at least twenty days the date set for hearing of said pro- tests, to all persons owning real property to be assessed, whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for County of. El Dorado taxes prior thereto or as known to the which notice shall contain a statement of the time, place and pur- pose of the hearing on said Resolution of Intention and report,and a'statement the total estimated coat of the proposed acquisitions .and.improvements, the amount as shown by said report to be assessed against the particular parcel covered by the notice, together with a statement that any person interested may file a protest in writ- ing as provided said Act. 1T IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk shall include with said notices to be mailed to such persons owning the property identified in said report as assessment parcels 46, 47, 49, 52, 53, 54, 55, 5 59, 6o, 61, 72, 76, 82, 84, 87, 89, 90, 102, i:o4, 1o6; 117, 118, 119, 122, 124, 125, 168, 170, 171, 174, 181, 185, 189, 194, 195, 196, 197, -2- 1 the J • M A 199, 200, 201, 203 and 204, a special notice concerning the limited rights of service and use in existing facilities which are proposed to be acquired for such parcels.
