RESOLUTION NO, 1777 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER RECLAMATION PLANT IMPROVE- MENTS SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, as follows: 1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a Notice to Contractors for sealed proposals for construction of (a) ammonia stripping tower revisions, (b) waste receiving facilities, (c) breakpoint chlorination facilities and chlorine rr contact basin, (d) 24 X 60 centrifuge, (e) grit removal facilities, (f) chemical clarifier, and (g) pond modifications and additions with necessary appurtenances, said Notice to Contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the treatment plant thereof (mailing address - P.O. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District I has ascertained the general applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shown in the Contract Documents. 3 411, Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be inspected at the District office, and at the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street, P. 0. Box 2088, Redding, 3 California. Copies may be obtained at the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates upon payment, non - refundable, of $15.00 per set. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained 3 in the Specifications. A pre -bid conference concerning Equal Employment Opportunity ill bid conditions will be held at the office of South Tahoe Public Utility District at 10:00 a.m. on April 19, 1973.
