Resolution No. 1747 WJML:RJH:gb1 10/26/72 6c RECEIVED OCT 3 01972 RESOLUTION NO. 1747 A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1972 -1 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, El Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolu- tion of Intention No. 1695, adopted by the Board of Directors of said District on September 21, 1972, was $521,220.00; WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work said estimate may be reduced to $392,530.00; WHEREAS, the proposed acquisitions described in clause "c" of Exhibit A to said Resolution No. 1695 can be deleted from this project without reducing the benefits to any parcel of land within the assessment district to a greater extent than the amount of reduction in the assessments on each parcel of land by reason of such deletion; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows: 1. That the acquisitions described in clause "c" of said Exhibit A be deleted from this project; 2. That the total assessment is hereby reduced from $521,220.00 to $382,330.00 and that each of the individual assess- ments shall be reduced by its pro rata share of the difference between the original assessment and the new assessment (repre- senting $757.00 per parcel by reason of said reduction of the estimated cost after opening of bids plus $60.00 per parcel by reason of said deletion of acquisitions).
