A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1554,
"A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE AND
CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS" BY CHANGING EXHIBIT A
THERETO AND PARAGRAPHS 9 AND 10 THEROF AND
DELETING PARAGRAPH 15 THEREOF
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1970 -2
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District, El Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS, this Board has by Resolution No. 1556, adopted
this date, ordered a modification of the proposed boundaries of
the assessment district proposed pursuant to Resolution of Inten-
‘, t!-on No. 1554, adopted this date, which modification of boundar-
ies necessitates amendment of said Reslution of Intention;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said Resolution of In-
tention No. 1554 be, and the same is hereby, amended as follows:
1. By changing the description of acquisitions and improve-
ments, as contained in Exhibit A to said Resolution of Intention
No. 1554, to read as set forth on "Amended Exhibit A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
2. By substituting in paragraph 9 of said Resolution of
Intention No. 1554 the words "Revised Proposed Boundaries of
Assessment District 1970 -2" in place of the words "Proposed Bound-
aries of Assessment District 1970 -2."
3. By changing paragraph 10 of said Resolution of Inten-
%*., tion No. 1554 to read as follows:
"10. The U. S. Forest Service will contribute toward the
costs of certain of said improvements as follows, an amount
equal to the sum of (a) 93.2% of the cost of the collection
sewer extension described in clause (a)(1) in Amended Exhibit
A hereto, (b) 41.2% of the cost of the facilities described in
clause (a)(2) in Amended Exhibit A hereto, (c) 1006 of the cost
of the collection sewer described in clause (a)(3) in Amended

Exhibit A hereto, and (d) 25.6% of the cost of the portion of
the branch trunk and collection sewer described in clause (a)
(4)(A) in Amended Exhibit A hereto. The State of California
will contribute the sum of $208,900 toward the costs of the
facilities described in clauses (a)(2) and (a)(4) in Amended
Exhibit A hereto, from which contribution all of the costs of
the facility described in clause (a)(4)(C) shall be paid, with
the balance of said contribution being prorated between (a)
58.8% of the costs of the facilities described in said clause
(a)(2), (b) 74.4% of the costs of the portion of the branch
and collection sewer described in said clause (a)(4)(A), and
(c) 50% of the costs of the portion of laid branch and collec-
tion sewer described in said clause (a)(4)(B)."
4. By deleting paragraph 15 of said Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 1554.

a) The installation and construction of sanitary sewerage facilities,
including collection sewers, necessary pumping stations and force
mains, manholes, flushing devices, rodholes, wye branches, later-
als and appurtenances on streets and roads and in easements to be
acquired therefor, to serve the lands within the boundaries of the
herein proposed assessment district, as hereinafter described by
reference to a map entitled "Revised Proposed Boundaries of Assess-
ment District 1970 -2 ", which facilities consist of the following,
to wit:
(1) extension of the existing collection sewer in Jameson Beach
Road, described in clause (c) hereof, easterly in said road to the
easterly end of the parcel designated by number 29 in Area A) on
the hereinafter referred to boundary map (entitled 'Revised Pro-
posed Boundaries of Assessment District 1970 -2 ");
(2) a pump station at or near the Baldwin Beach parking area
and a force main extending southerly therefrom to Trunk B, de-
scribed in clause (c) hereof;
(3) a collection sewer extending approximately 800 feet east-
erly from said Baldwin Beach pump station; and a collection sewer
at Camp Richardson commencing at manhole A4 -5 in the trunk sewer
lir main extending westerly from the Tahoe Keys pump station to State
Highway 89 and thence westerly along said Highway 89 (as hereinaf-
ter described in c) below) and extending southerly approximately
270 feet;
(4) a branch trunk and collection sewer commencing at said
Baldwin Beach pump station and extending therefrom:
(A) northerly and westerly to a point on the southeasterly
boundary line of parcel number 110 (in Area D) on said revised
boundary map;
(B) thence westerly and northwesterly to and through said
Area D to the principal street in Cascade Subdivision and
thence along said street to the northeasterly boundaries of
parcels numbered 53 and 54 (in said Area D) on said revised
boundary map;
(C) thence northwesterly along the northwesterly boundary of
said parcel numbered 54 to Cascade Creek and thence northerly
to State Highway 89 and thence along said highway to the en-
trance to Emerald Bay State Park;
(5) collection sewers, extending from the branch trunk and col-
lection sewer described in (4) above, along the boundaries between
parcels numbered 87 and 88 and along the northeasterly boundary of
parcel numbered 84 (in said Area D);
b) The acquisition for all parcels of property within said boundaries
of a right of service and use in the existing sanitary sewerage
and sewage treatment and disposal facilities of said Utility Dis-
trict, other than the facilities described in clause (c) hereof,
which help provide service to and which are of benefit to the
properties within said area;

c) The acquisitions within said boundaries of a right of service and
use in the sanitary sewerage facilities constructed by said Utility
District for the Pope Baldwin Recreation Area, El Dorado National
Forest, pursuant to and as described in Contract No. GS -00T -1708
(TP), and all amendments and supplements thereto, between said
Utility District and the United States of America, dated June 20/25,
1968, which help provide service to and which are of benefit to
the properties within said boundaries, which facilities with re-
spect to all parcels of property within said boundaries consist of
trunk sewer mains extending westerly from the Tahoe Keys pump sta-
tion to State Highway 89 and thence westerly along said Highway 89
to the terminus of the segment thereof known as the B Trunk at a
point near where said highway turns northward toward Lake Tahoe and
Emerald Bay, including the Tallac and Taylor pump stations; and
with respect to parcels designated by numbers 1 through 40 (all of
Area A) on said revised boundary map consist of the Camp Richardson
force main which extends northward from the segment of the above
described trunk sewers known as the A Trunk to the Camp Richardson
pump station located near the westerly end of Jameson Beach Road,
including said pump station, and with respect to said parcels 1
through 39 consist of a collection sewer extending easterly in said
Jameson Beach Road from said Camp Richardson pump station to a
point near said parcels 14 and 32, and with respect to said parcel
40 consist of a collection sewer extending northward and eastward
into said parcel 40, and with respect to parcels numbered 41
through 51 (all of Area B) on said revised boundary map consist of
collection sewers extending southerly and westerly from said A
Trunk to Fallen Leaf Lake and thence southerly along the western
side of said lake to and along said Area B, and with respect to
parcel numbered 52 (Area C) on said revised boundary map consists of
a collection sewer extending westerly from said Trunk B to the
southeasterly corner of said parcel 52 and thence westerly along
the southern boundary of said parcel 52 to a point beyond the
southwesterly corner of said parcel 52;
d) The acquisition of all facilities, lands and easements and the
construction of all work auxiliary to any of the above as neces-
sary to complete the same.
