Resolution No. 1499 WJML:RJH:g$ 9/14/70 8c RESOLUTION NO. 1499 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS OR OTHER APPROPRIATE PROCEEDINGS, FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND APPURTE- NANCES WITHOUT PROCEEDINGS UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1970 -1 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, El Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, the Health Officer of El Dorado County has recommended to this Board as necessary as a health measure, which recommendation was given in writing and signed by him, that it undertake appropriate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the acquisition and con - struction of a sanitary sewerage system in said District, said acquisi- tions and improvements being more particularly described in Exhibit A hereto attached and incorporated herein by reference; WHEREAS, the cost of said project will be assessed upon the dis- trict benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of which are the coterminous exterior boundaries of the composite and consolidated area more particularly shown on the map thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of said District. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows: 1. That a copy of said Health Officer's letter be spread upon the minutes of this meeting; 2. That said proceedings so proposed to be undertaken by this Board for the acquisition and construction of said sanitary sewerage sys- tem are necessary as a health measure; 3. That the provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code are hereby dispensed with and no longer apply to said proceedings. ATTEST: President 0./(2 6:, South Tahoe Public Utility District ,6/-/ Clerk and Ex officio Secretary * * * * * • • • ''err' a) The installation and construction of and the acquisition of a right of service and use in new and existing, respec- tively, sanitary sewer systems, including collection sewers, necessary pumping stations and force mains, man- holes, Flushing devices, rodholes, wye branches, laterals and appurtenances, on streets and roads and in easements acquired therefor, all as may be necessary and required for sanitary sewer service for each of the parcels of land within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district, as hereinafter described; b) The acquisition, for each parcel within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district which does not have same, of a right of service and use in the existing sanitary sewerage and' sewage treatment and disposal facilities of said Utility District, other than the facilities described in clause- "a" hereof, which help provide service to and which are of benefit to the properties within said area; c) The acquisition of all facilities, lands and easements and the construction of all work auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to complete the same.
