RESOLUTION NO. 1481
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER
OF EL DORADO COUNTY RECOMMEND PROCEEDINGS UNDER APPRO-
PRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS, OR
OTHER APPROPRIATE PROCEEDINGS, FOR THE ACQUISITION AND
CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND
APPURTENANCES, AS NECESSARY AS A HEALTH MEASURE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1970 -1
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, El Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to undertake proceed-
ings pursuant to appropriate special assessment and assessment bond
acts for the acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage sys-
tem in and for said District, said acquisitions and improvements being
flih more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference;
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to make the costs and
expenses of said acquisitions and improvements chargeable upon an as-
sessment district, the exterior boundaries of which are the coterminous
exterior boundaries of the composite and consolidated area more partic-
ularly shown on a map entitled "Proposed Boundaries of Assessment
District 1970 -1" on file in the office of the Clerk of said District,
which indicates by a boundary line the extent of the territory included
in the proposed district and which shall govern for all details as to
the extent of the assessment district, to which reference is hereby
made;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that request be, and the same is
hereby, made of the County Health Officer of El Dorado County that he
recommend said proceedings as necessary as a health measure.

a) The installation and construction of and the acquisition
of a right of service and use in new and existing, respec-
tively, sanitary sewer systems, including collection
sewers, necessary pumping stations and force mains, man-
holes, flushing devices, rodholes, wye branches, laterals
and appurtenances, on streets and roads and in easements
acquired therefor, all as may be necessary and required
for sanitary sewer service for each of the parcels of
land within the boundaries of the proposed assessment
district, as hereinafter described;
b) The acquisition, for each parcel within the boundaries of
the proposed assessment district which does not have same,
of a right of service and use in the existing sanitary
sewerage and sewage treatment and disposal facilities of
said Utility District, other than the facilities described
in clause "a" hereof, which help provide service to and
which are of benefit to the properties within said area;
c) The acquisition of all facilities, lands and easements
and the construction of all work auxiliary to any of the
above and necessary to complete the same.
