Resolution No. 1459 K f r A \ J 1 N' j RESOLUTION NQ,.1459• A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LUTHER PASS PUMPING STATION IMPROVEMENTS BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, as follows: 1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a Notice to Contractors for sealed proposals for construction of Luther Pass Pumping Station Improve- ments consisting of the removal of approximately 1,510 cubic yards of earth and rock from pumping station site, landscaping the site, and constructing a porch addition to the building; said notice to contractors to be in the form of EXHIBTT hereto and made a part hereof. 2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the Treatment Plant thereof (mailing address, P.O. O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California 95705, until 3:00 p.m., August 6, 1970 at which time they will be publicly opened and read for construction of: SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT • LUTHER PASS PUMPING STATION IPIPROVEIIENTS The work contemplated consists of the removal of approximately 1,510 cubic yards of earth and rock from pumping station site, landscaping the site, and constructing a porch addition to the building. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the general applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shown in the Contract Documents. Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be obtained at the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street, P.O. Box 2088, Redding, California upon payment, non- refundable, of $5.00 per set. Contract Documents are available for examination at the same 4 ' No proposal will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, Statutes of 1929, as amended, or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
