RESOLUTION NO. 2612
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
OF APPRECIATION FOR REMARKABLE
ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY ALPINE COUNTY
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, County of EI Dorado, State of California, as follows:
WHEREAS, South Tahoe Public Utility District has extensive facilities
WHEREAS, recent storms significantly damaged those facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors unanimou~ly passed Resolution
R95-14 declaring the existence of a local emergency; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution helped secure similar declarations at the State
and National level;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the
South Tahoe Public Utility District does hereby express its deep appreciation to the

Board of Supervisors, their Administrative Coordinator, County Counsel, and County
Office of Emergency Services for help in this matter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duly held Regular Meeting of the Board of
Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District on the 20th day of April, 1995 by
the following vote:
AYES: Mason, Wallace, Jones, Mosbacher
NOES: None

On April 20, 1995, our Board of Directors passed Resolution No. 2612 to recognize
and thank you and members of your Board for your assistance to us during our March
emergencies. The support of Alpine County Board of Supervisors, along with the

Services was essential to securing the Federal disaster area declaration.
