RESOLUTION NO. 2559
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH TAHOE
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AUTHORIZING FINAL APPLICATION
TO CALIFORNIA TAHOE CONSERVANCY FOR SOIL EROSION
CONTROL FACILITIES GRANT FUNDING

BE IT RESOLVED, by the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the SOUTH TAHOE
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, COUNTY OF EL DORADO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
AS FOLLOWS:
A.
WHEREAS, the Cold Creek Facility is an integral part of the
South Tahoe Public Utility District's long-term water supply strategy:
1)
Final application to the California Tahoe Conservancy for
soil erosion control grant funding for the Cold Creek Reservoir Access
Road is authorized in the form submitted to the Board of Directors at
this regularly held meeting.
2) The South Tahoe Public Utility District upon grant funding
through the California Tahoe Conservancy specifically agrees to
implement and install said project in accordance with the provisions
in said Final Application, and further specifically agrees to manage
and maintain said project in a manner consistent with the objectives
of the California Tahoe Conservancy Soil Erosion Control Grants

period of twenty (20) years.

The South Tahoe Public Utility District upon grant funding

through the California Tahoe Conservancy specifically agrees to
provide matching funds to pay for one-half of the costs of paving the

Access Road.
