Schafer, Director Mary Lou Mosbacher, Vice President Chris Cefalu, Director SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT APRIL 23, 2010 MINUTES The Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District met in a special session, April 23, 2010, 2:00 P.M., District Office, 1275 Meadow Crest Drive, South Lake Tahoe, California. BOARD OF DIRECTORS: President Rise, Directors Cefalu, Jones, Mosbacher, Schafer. STAFF: Solbrig, Sharp, Hughes, Hoggatt. Attorney Herrema participated via teleconference. ROLL CALL ITEMS FOR BOARD ACTION Seven bids were received for this project at the April 13 bid opening. A careful review and analysis of the three lowest bids showed each contained minor deviations that did not impact bid advantages. Staff has confirmed that the lowest bid, received from Tiechert Construction, met all of the good faith efforts required by the grant conditions. Moved Schafer / Second Mosbacher / Passed Unanimously to waive minor bid irregularities, and award the bid to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Teichert Construction, in the amount of $1,198,153.50.
