OF BOARD MINUTES REPORT BY BOARD MEMBERS SHOP STEWARD'S REPORT COMMITTEE REPORTS PAST MEFTINGS REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES - OCTOBER 18, 1984 Paqe 2 Manager Cofer reported on 3 items: (1) 10/18/84 Meeting with BLM staff and Gene Eppler re BLM permit applica- tion. Application processing had been stopped due to Alpine County litigation. Application processing will now proceed, perhaps with same condition as EPA grant re Alpine County litigation. (2) District has received State Grant offer. It will be on the 11/1/84 Board Agenda. (3) Tahoe Human Services will have a progress report meeting on 10/23/84 at 9:00 A.M., District Office. A Board member was requested to be present. Attorney Weidman requested an Executive Session to discuss the Alpine County litigation. Ken Schroeder gave an oral and video report on the slip-lining project. Gene Eppler gave an oral report on the archaeological work taking place on the Heise Land & Livestock property in Alpine County. Work began on 10/16/84 and includes an Indian observer from the Washoe tribe. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 353 shall be amend- ed as follows: That the GENERAL MANAGER/DISTRICT ENGINEER, as an officer of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, shall receive as compensation for said office, the sum of FIVE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS ($5,160) PER MONTH, retroactive to JULY 1, 1984, plus mileage and/or District Vehicle. 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 365, shall be amen~ ed as follows: · That the CLEP~ OF BOARD, as an officer of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, shall receive as comp- ensation of said office, the sum of TWO THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED, SIXTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($2,564.00) PER MONTH retroactive to JULY 1, 1984. THIS ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage; at least one (1) week before the expiration of said thirty day period, copies of said ORDINANCE shall be posted by the Clerk of Board of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, at three public places in said District, and at least one week before the expiration of said thirty day period, this ORDINANCE shall be published in the TAHOE DAILY TRIBUNE, a news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in said District one time. The Salary Range for Classified Positions shall be set for in EXHIBIT "A" attached hereto and made a part of this RESOLUTION by reference. 2. Authorized Number of Employees: By adoption of this RESOLUTION, the number of positions shown in,EXHIBIT '~A" 'shall be deemed the authorized number of employees in classified positions. In the event an authorized position cannot be filled, the number of lower paid authorized positions may be increased to compensate for unfilled position. The total number of authorized employees shall not be exceeded. 3. This RESOLUTION supersedes any and all other RESOLUTIONS previously adopted. 4. This RESOLUTION SHALL become effective and retro- active to July l, 1984.
