SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
JUNE 6, 1985
The Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District met
in a regular session, June 6, 1985, 4:00 P.M., 1900 Lake Tahoe Blvd.,
City Services Center.

Assistant Manager Baer noted there had
been two items added to the Agenda Action
Items since the Workshop on June 3rd. -

Director Mason reported he had talked with
Rich Vonderscher about the framing of the
Forest Mountain Tank Cover and the need for
2 x 12 redwood rafters to support a 200 lb.

A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY
DISTRICT SETTING DATE FOR HEARING ON INTENT TO
ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY AUTHORIZING FILING
OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
EROSION CONTROL PROJECT
HEAVENLY VALLEY WATER TANK SITE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of South
Tahoe Public Utility District, County of E1 Dorado, State of
California, as follows:
1. The Board of Directors hereby sets a hearing for
4.:15 P.M. on July t, 1985 at the South Lake Tahoe City Council
Chambers, 1900 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, Cali-
fornia on its intent to adopt a Resolution of Necessity to
authorize filing of eminent domain proceedings to acquire prop-
erty described in Exhibit A for South Tahoe Public Utility
District Erosion Control Project - Heavenly Valley Water Tank
Site, attached hereto and made a part hereof, necessary for
South Tahoe Public Utility District. The South Tahoe Public
Utility District's mailing address is P. O. Box AU, South Lake
Tahoe, CA, 95705.
2. The Board of Directors will specifically hear
the following matters at said hearing:
^. Public interest and necessity requiring the
South Tahoe Public Utility District Erosion Control Project -
Heavenly Valley Water Tank Site for the purpose of erosion
control on and for the protection of the existing roadway to
the Heavenly Valley Water Tank Site of South Tahoe Public
Utility District for maintenance and operation of said tanks
which provide domestic and fire protection water supply, and
for the protection of soil and vegetation contiguous to said
existing roadway.
B. Whether the South Tahoe Public Utility Dis-
trict Erosion Control Project - Heavenly Valley Water Tank
Site, and specifically, that part of the project described in
Exhibit A, is planned or located in a manner that will be most
compatible with the greatest public good and the least private
injury.
C. The property so described in Exhibit A
sought to be acquired is necessary for the project.
3. The Board of Directors authorized this notice
to be mailed to the record owner of said property as his name
and address appear on the last equalized County assessment
roll as owning the property, 15 days prior to said hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of
South Tahoe Public Utility District at a duly called regular
meeting on June 6. 1985 by the following vote:

Dear Mr. Marchini:
On June 6,'1985 the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District granted relief and approved the transfer of one
(1) sewer unit from APN 23-211-53 for use on APN 23-201-58 with
the 'condition that if APN 23-311-53, APN 23-201-58, and/or APN
23-301-69 are sold separately, said properties sold will install
separate sewers as per Ordinance No. 359, Article V, Sec. 5.8 of
the South Tahoe Public Utility District and upon condition that
the permit for APN 23-211-53 be reduced one unit'and the permit
for APN 23-201-58 be increased one unit.
When you sign the aforesaid conditions on the applicable permit,
the transfer will be effective once all sewer fees have been
paid.

informational data for the Sewer and Water Enterprises. The
estimated revenues and estimated expenses for each Enterprise
are available for public inspection at the District Office,
1275 Meadow Crest Drive between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to
5:00 P.M. (Monday through Friday). The data estimates that
Sewer and Water rates for the Fiscal Year 1985-86 will NOT
have to be increased.
