MINUTES
The Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District met in a regular session, January 2,
2003, 2:00 P.M., City Council Chambers, 1900 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, California.

Director Becker was absent but participated in Closed
Session by teleconference from 3:15 - 3:50 p.m.

Section 125 Flexible Benefits Plan - (1) Authorized
Plan Administrators to change plan year to coincide
with calendar year; (2) Increased medical reimburse-
ment cap to $2,500 per plan year; and (3) Authorized
plan administrators to sign applicable agreements as
needed to administer the plan;

Commission was recently challenged in court and

was ruled unconstitutional. Term limits may now be
imposed on appointees. The ruling may have
ramifications for State water boards, and TRPA,
since they have a similar form of governance.
General Manager:. Robert Baer gave an update on efforts
still underway to select a route alternative for the B-line
Phase 3 Export Pipeline Replacement Project.
