Resolution No. 72 (Assessment) A S S E S_$_ M E N T RESQLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 72 PROJECT NO. 56-1 WHEREAS, On August 8 , 1956 , the Board of Directors of the SoUth Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 ~orado County, California, pUrsuant tO the provisions of the Municipal Improve- ment Act of 1913, as amended, adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 72 for the m®~m~®m and construction of the public improvements more particularly therein described; WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention directed the District Engineer to make and file a report presenting plans and specifications for the proposed ac- quisition and construction, estimate of costs, and diagram and assessment of and upon the subdivisions of land within said Dis- trict, to which Resolution reference is hereby made for further particulars; NOW, THEREFORE, I, KENNETH W. BROWN of B~o~n and Caldwell, District Engineer of said District , by virtue of the power vested in me under said Act and the order of the Board of Directors of said District, hereby make the following assessment to cover the portion of the estimated cost of said a~~i~, work and im- provements and the costs and expenses incidental thereto to be paid by the assessment district, as follows: The amount to be paid for said acquisitions, work and improve- merits, and the e;~penses incidental thereto, is as follows: Cost of Construction $ 71,397.50 Cost of Acquisitions Contingencies Incidental Expenses TOTAL COST none none 7,002.50 78,400.00 Estimated Contributions $ none Balance to Assessment $ 78,400.00 And I do hereby assess and apportion said total amount of the cost and expenses of said acquisitions, work and improvements upon the several lots, pieces or parcels or portions of lots or subdi- visions of land liable therefor and benefited thereby, and here- inafter numbered to correspond with the numbers upon the attached diagram, upon each, severally and respectively, in accordance with the benefits, and more particularly set forth in the list hereto attached and by reference made a part hereof. As required by said Act, a diagram is hereto attached show- ing the assessment district and aisc the boundaries and dimensions of the respective subdivisions of land within said District as the same existed at the time of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, each of which sub- divisions having been given a separate number upon said diagram. Said assessment is made upon the several subdivisions of land within said Distr~ct in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received by said subdivisions respectively from said im- provement~. The diagram and assessment numbers appearing herein are the diagram numbers appearing on said diagram, to which reference is hereby made for more particular description of said property. And because the names of the several owners are unknown to me, I hereby place the word "Unknown" opposite the number of each subdivision of land assessed, and the amount assessed there- on, and the number of the assessment. For a more particular description of said property, reference is hereby made to the deeds and maps on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder of the above County. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and bear interest at the rate of six (6) per cent per annum, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by Division l0 of the Streets and Highways Code, the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the last installment of such bonds shall mature 14 years from the second day of July next succeed- ing l0 months from their date. The parcel descriptions are those used by the County Assessor and as appear on Assessor-s maps. In 29:331-6, the "29" is the Book of Maps. In the 331, the "33" is the page of said book, and the "l" is the block number. The "6" at the end is the lot number.
