Resolution No. 121 RESOLUTION NO. 121 ~RESOLU,.T~ION AN__.~D 0RDER~ pHANGING T~tE BOUNDARIES OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED, by t~e Board of Directors of South Tahoe Pu~ lic Utility District, County of E1 Dorado, State of California, as follows: WHEREAS, upon a petZtion duly filed with the Clerk of this Board, proceedings were instituted for the annexation of territory to this District pursuant to the provisions of Article l, Chapter 9, Division 7, of the Public Utilities Code of the State of Cali- fornia; and WHEREAS, after proceedings held pursuant to law, the annexa- tion of certain property to this District was approved by a majority vote of the electors residing within the territory pro- posed to be annexed, registered as such at the time of thepre- sentation of the petition, and who at the time of the election were still electors residing in the territory; now therefore: IT IS ORDERED: 1. That the property described in Appendix A, attached here- to, be, and the same hereby is, annexed to South Tahoe Public Utility District, and shall hereafter be a part of South Tahoe Public Utility District as fully and to every intent and purpose as if said land had been included in the District ~ its original organization. 2. That the exterior boundaries of South Tahoe Public Utility District shall hereafter be as described in Appendix A, attached hereto. 3. That said annexation of said territory shall be subject to the following terms and conditions: That said territory shall assume a pro-rata share of the existing indebtedness of the Dis- trict, in the proportion that the assessed valuation ~f the property subject to taxation by the District in the said territory during each fiscal year beginning with the fiscal year 1958-19~9 -1- bears to the assessed valuation of all property in the District Cincluding the assessed valuation of said property in said terri- tory) subject to taxation by the District. The Appendix attached hereto, referred to herein, and marked "Appendix A", is incorporated herein as if set forth at large in the body of this resolution and order. 5. The Secretary of this Board is instructed to cause a copy of this Resolution and Order to be certified by the President and Secretary and to be filed for record in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of E1 Dorado, State of California, the county in this State in chich the territory annexed is situated; and after such filing with such County Recorder, the Secretary is instructed to cause this Resolution and Order to be set forth at large upon the minutes of the Board. 6. The Secretary of this Board is further instructed to file or cause to be filed, a statement of the change of boundaries of the District, together with a map or plat indica$ing indicating the boundaries, with the County Assessor of the County of E1 Dorado, State of California, and with the Board of Equalization the State of California, as required by Chapter 3.5, Division l, Title 6, Government Code of the State of California.
