Resolution No. 197KWHL': JHH: ac 0/2o/o0 ; ESOLUTZON A ~SOLUTION REQUESTING CONSENT 0P BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 0F THE COUNTY OF EL DORADO, TO UNDERT}~KE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE~ 2CQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SE¥~ERS AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE COSTS SHALL BE ASSESSED UPON THE DISTRICT BENEFITED, UNDER APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSP~'~NT AND ASSESS~NT BOND ACTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1960-2 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that ~WHER~S' ~- , it is the intention of this Board to undertake appropriate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the acquisition and construction of sanitary sewers in or for said District, more particularly set forth in the description of the work hereto attached; WHEPdEAS, it is the intention of this Board to assess the costs of said acquisitions and improvements and the expenses in- cidental thereto upon a district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of whici~ are more particularly set forth in the boundary description f~ereto attached; and WHEREAS, the public interest and convenience will be served by the making of said acquisitions and improvements and the levying of said assessments; NOW, THEREPORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That request be, and the sa~e is hereby, made that the Bca~d-', ~ of Supervisors of the County of E1 Dorado, being the legis- lative body having jurisdiction of the territory in which said work is to be done and said assessments are to 'be levied, grant vo this Board its consent, expressed by resolution, to order ti~e acquisition and construction of said sewers in the whole or any part of t~e streets in or for said District and to provide t~at the costs may be assessed upon the properties benefited ti'~ereby. 2. That said B©ard, in said resolution, grant to this Board its consent to open all such public streets as are required for the installation of said sewers~ said work to be done under the direction of the Engineer of i,~ork~ and to the satisfaction of the Road Commissioner of said County, and in conformity witi-~ good engineering practice. Said Engineer shall require ef the contractor that all of the provisions of the specifications approved by t~'~is Board be complied with ~o the end that no greate~ amount of ditches are opened at any time than is necessary, that they shall be adequately lighted and barricaded, that they shall be promptly backfil!ed, and that the surface of the streets shall be restored with materials of like quality and character as those existing therin at the time of such work, and to its former con- dition and state of usefulness as nearly as may be. 3.
