RESOLUTION OF NTEmON TO CQUEE
CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1960 - 1
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that in
its opinion the public interest and convenience require, and that
it is the intention of said Board to order the following acqui-
sitlons and improvements hereinafter described:
1. Whenever any public way is herein referred to as run-
ning between two public ways, or from or to any public way, the
intersections of the public ways referred to are included to the
extent that work shall be shown on the plans to be done therein.
2. Said streets and highways are more particularly shown
in the records in the office of the County Recorder of E1 Dorado
County, California, and shall be shown upon the plans herein re-
ferred to to be filed with the Clerk of said District.
3. All of said work and improvements are to be constructed
at the places and in the particular locations, of the forms,
sizes, dimensions and materials, and at the lines, grades and
elevations as shown and delineated upon the plans, profiles and
specifications to be made therefor, as hereinafter provided.
4. There is to be excepted from the work herein described
any of such work already done to line and grade and marked ex-
cepted or shown not to be done on said plans, profiles and
specifications.
5. The acquisitions and improvements are described as
follows:
(a) The installation and construction of six to thirty inch
collection sewers, force main, manholes, flushing inlets, wyes,
risers, and four inch house laterals on the following streets, roads
and easements:
Aspen Ave. for its entire length; Modesto Ave.for its entire
length; Los Angeles Ave.~for its entire length; Stanford Ave~ for its
entire length; Sonoma Ave.for its entire length; Capistrano Ave.
for its entire length; Paloma Ave.for its entire length; Placer Ave.
for its entire length; Tulare Ave. for its entire length; Sacramento
Ave. from Paloma Ave. to Placer Ave; Oakland Ave. from Modesto Ave.
south to Trout Creek; Pasadena Ave. from San Francisco Ave. to
Modesto Ave.; Bellevue Ave. from E1 Dorado Ave. south to the end;
an easement running along the boundary common to lots 16 and 17 in
Block 80 of A1 Tahoe Subdivision; an easement running along the
boundary common to lots 41 and 42 in Block 80 of A1 Tahoe Subdivision;
an easement running along the boundary common to lots 50, 51,52,53
and 54 in Block 80 of A1 Tahoe Subdivision; an easement running
along the boundary common to lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12,
13 and 14 in Block 93 of A1 Tahoe Subdivision; an easement running
along the boundary common to lots 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Block 93 of A1
Tahoe Subdivision; an easement lying adjacent to and westerly and
southwesterly of the westerly and southwesterly boundary of A1 Tahoe
Subdivision from San Francisco Ave. south to Trout Creek; thence
easterly along the northerly edge of Trout Creek to the easterly
boundary of A1 Tahoe Subdivision; Fresno Ave. from Stanford Ave°
north 100 feet; Nevada Ave. from Modesto Ave. north 100 feet;
U.S.Highway No. 50 from the southerly line of lot 35 of Trout Creek
Tract to the northerly line of lot 39 of Trout Creek Tract; Meadow
Vista for its entire length; Pine Place for its entire length;
Edgewood Lane for its entire length; an easement running along the
boundary common to lots 16 and 17 of the Trout Creek Tract; an
easement running along the southerly lines of lots 16, 17, 18, 19,
20 and 30 of Trout Creek Tract; E1 Dorado Ave. from Bellevue Ave.
northwest 350 feet; E1 Dorado Ave. from Capistrano Ave. to Sonoma
Ave. and northwest from Sonoma Ave. 200 feet; E1 Dorado Ave. from
Placer Ave. to Paloma Ave; E1 Dorado Ave. from Tulare Ave. to
Oakland Ave.; an easement running along the boundary common to lots
40 and 41 of Trout Creek Tract; an easement running along the west
lines of lots 39, 40, 41 and 42 of Trout Creek Tract; an easement
running along the line common to lots 5 and 6 of Sec. 3, T12N, R18E,
M.D.B. and M.from the west line of Trout Creek Tract to the north-
west corner of Tahoe-50 Subdivision; Rainbow Trail for its entire
length; Tahoe Ave. for its entire length; Beach Boulevard from

150 feet west of Sierra Ave. to O'malley Dri.; Cecilia Ave. from

from Stockton Ave. to O'malley Drive; Armstrong Ave. for its
entire length; Knox Ave. from Stockton Ave. to O'malley Drive;
Bertha Ave. from Stockton Ave. to O'malley Drive; Osborne Ave. from
Stockton Ave. to O'malley Drive; Kubel Ave. from Sierra Ave. to

Charles Ave. for its entire length; O'malley Drive from Martin Ave.
to Armstrong Ave.; O'malley Drive from Chris Ave. to U.S.Highway
No. 50; Highway No. 50 from Carson Ave. east 5BO feet; Highway
No. 50 from Johnson Ave. west ?O0 feet; Johnson Ave. for its
entire length; MarJorie St. for its entire length; William St.
for its entire length; and Know St. for its entire length; Ski
Run Boulevard from David Lane to Lakeview Heights Road; MacKedi
Way from the center of the westerly half of lot 5 of Lakeview
Heights Subdivision westerly to the center of lot 8; an easement
running along the northerly line of Lakeview Heights Subdivision
from Ski Run Boulevard west to the easterly line of lot 18 of
Lakeview Heights Subdivision; an easement running northerly and
southerly along the center of lots ?, 8 and 9 of Lakeview Heights
Subdivision; and easement running along the line common to lots
2 and ll of Lake view Heights Subdivision; and easement running
along the line common to lots l0 and ll of Lakeview Heights Sub-
division; an easement running along the line common to lots 14 and
15 of Lakeview Heights Subdivision; an easement running southerly
along the westerly boundary of Lakeview Heights Subdivision from
the northerly line of lot 14 to the southerly line of lot lB;
Lakeview Heights Road from Ski Run Boulevard to the westerly
boundary of Lakeview Heights Road; Birch Road and Birch Road
extension from Larch Drive to Glen Road; Glen Road from Birch Road
extension to a point BSo feet Southwest of Alder.
(b) The installation and construction of a lift station to
be located along the westerly boundary of A1 Tahoe at the southerly
end of Bellevue Ave.
(c) The making of all acquisitions and the performing of all
work auxiliary to any of the above necessary to complete the same.
6. Notice is hereby given of the fact that in many cases
said work and improvement will bring the finished work to a grade
different from that formerly existing, and that to said extent
said grades are hereby changed and that said work will be done to
said changed grades.
7. Said Board does hereby adopt and establish a s the
official grades for said work the grades and elevations to be
shown upon said plans, profiles and specifications. All such
grades and elevations are to be in feet and decimals thereof with
reference to the datum plane of the U. S. Coast Geodetic Survey.
8. The descriptions of the acquisitionm and improvements
and the termini of the work contained in this Resolution are
general in nature. All items of work do not necessarily extend
for the full length of the description thereof. The plans and
profiles of the work and the map and descriptions of the acquisi-
tions, as contained in the Engineer's report, shall be controllin
as to the correct and detailed description thereof.
9. Said Board further declares that all public streets an
highways within said assessment district in use in the performanc~
of a public function as such shall be omitted from the asse~
hereafter to be made to cover the costs and expenses of said
acquisitions and improvements.
10. Said contemplated acquisitions and improvements, in thc
opinion of the Board, are of more than local or ordinary public
benefit and said Board does hereby make the costs and expenses
thereof chargeable upon an assessment district, which district
said Board declares to be the district benefited thereby, the
exterior boundaries of which district are described as follows:
1. All of A1 Tahoe as shown on the map entitled "Amended
Map of A1 Tahoe" filed November 21, 1917 in Book A of Maps of E1
Dorado County, California at Page 3, with the exception of the
following:

Block 51, Lots I and 3 through 7
Block 52, Lots i through 8
Block 53, Lots i through 8
Block 54, Lots I through 8
Block 55, Lots I through 8

along the northerly line of Lot 7 Sec. 3, 388.7 feet more or less
to the northwesterly line of U.S.Highway No. 50 as it now exists
80 feet wide; thence S 49° 38'W along the northwesterly line of
Highway No. 50, 510 feet more or less to the westerly line of Lot 7,

southerly line of Lot 6, Sec. 3 836 feet more or less to the
southeasterly line of U.S.Highway No. 50 as it now exists 80 feet
wide; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of Highway
No. 50 ll70 feet more or less to the westerly line of Johnson Acres
No. 2 as shown on Map No. 44 in Book A of Maps of E1 Dorado County,
California; thence S 02° 30'E 834.71 feet to the point of beginning,
containing approximately 8.1 acres.
11. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent
the unpaid assessments, and bear interest at the rate of not to
exceed six percent (6%) per annum, will be issued hereunder in
the manner provided in the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, Division
l0 of the Streets and Highways Code, the last installment of which
bonds shall mature not to exceed fourteen (14) years from the
second day of July next succeeding ten (10) months from their
date.
12. Except as herein otherwise provided for the issuance
of bonds, all of said improvements shall be done pursuant to the
provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 191~, as amended.
l~. Reference is hereby made to proceedings had pursuant
to Division ~ of the Streets and Highways Code on file in the
office of the Clerk.
lt. Said proposed acquisitions and improvements are here-
by referred to the District Engineer, being a competent person
employed by said District for that purpose; and said Engineer is
hereby directed to make and file with the Clerk of said District
a report in writing, presenting the following:
(a) Maps and descriptions of~he lands and easements to
be acquired;
(b) Plans and specifications of the proposed improvements
to be made pursuant to this Resolution of Intention;
(c) Engineer's statement of the itemized and total estima~
costs and expenses of said acquisitions and improvements and of
the incidental expenses in connection therewith;
(d) Diagram showing the assessment district above referre(
to, and also the boundaries and dimensions of the respective sub-
divisions of land within said district as the same existed at
the time of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, each of

which subdivisions shall be given a separate number upon said
diagram;
(e) A proposed assessment of the total amount of the costs
and expenses of the proposed acquisitions and improvements upon
the several subdivisions of land in said district in proportion to
the estimated benefits to be received by such subdivisions, re-
spectively, from said acquisitions and improvements, and of the
expenses incidental thereto.
15. If any excess shall be realized from the assessment
it shall be spent for the maintenance of said acquisitions and
improvements, unless the Board shall hereafter determine that
said amount or any part thereof shall be applied as a credit to
each assessment herein.
