Resolution No. 278A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS OR OTHER APPROPRIATE PROs CEEDINGS, FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND APPURTENANCES WITHOUT PROCEEDINGS UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SANITARY SEWERAGE PROJECT NO. 1960-4 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, the County Health Officer of the County of E1 Dorado has recommended to this Board as necessary as a health measure, which recommendation was given in writing and signed by him, that it undertake appropriate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage system in said District all as more par- ticularly described as follows: WHEREAS, the cost of said project will be assessed upon the district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of which are the coterminous exterior boundaries shown, on the map thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of said District; WHEREAS, the acquisitions and improvements are described as follows: (a) The installation and construction of a sewer system including six to twenty-four inch collection sewers, force mains, manholes~ flush- ing devices, rodholes~ wye branches and house laterals on the following streets, roads and easements; In Comstock Way, in its entirety~ E1 Dorado Avenue, in its entirety; Cascade Street, from Sunset Drive to E1 Dorado Avenue~ North Lodi Avenue, from Cascade Street to U. That a copy of said Health Officer's letter be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. 2. That said proceedings so proposed to be undertaken by this Board for the acquisition and construction of said sanitary sewerage system are necessary as a health measure. 3. That the provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code are hereby dispensed with and no longer apply to said proceedings.
