Resolution 2559 \. \-, \., 2 3 RESOLUTION NO. 2559 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AUTHORIZING FINAL APPLICATION TO CALIFORNIA TAHOE CONSERVANCY FOR SOIL EROSION CONTROL FACILITIES GRANT FUNDING 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 J4 15 IG BE IT RESOLVED, by the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, COUNTY OF EL DORADO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: A. WHEREAS, the Cold Creek Facility is an integral part of the South Tahoe Public Utility District's long-term water supply strategy: 1) Final application to the California Tahoe Conservancy for soil erosion control grant funding for the Cold Creek Reservoir Access Road is authorized in the form submitted to the Board of Directors at this regularly held meeting. 2) The South Tahoe Public Utility District upon grant funding through the California Tahoe Conservancy specifically agrees to implement and install said project in accordance with the provisions in said Final Application, and further specifically agrees to manage and maintain said project in a manner consistent with the objectives of the California Tahoe Conservancy Soil Erosion Control Grants 17 18 19 20 Program, Program Announcement and Guidelines, July 26, 1991, over a 21 period of twenty (20) years. 22 3) The South Tahoe Public Utility District upon grant funding 23 through the California Tahoe Conservancy specifically agrees to provide matching funds to pay for one-half of the costs of paving the 24 2:1 Access Road. 2G 27 2H \. - "-' \., RESOLUTION NO. 2559 2 3 4 PAGE - 2 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duly held regular meeting of the South 5 Tahoe Public utility District this 19th day of March, 1992, by the 6 7 8 9 JO following vote: AYES: Director Pierini, Onysko, Mason, Mosbacher, Wallace NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ~Q ~---,/ I - u::.- :;Z~ LOU PIERINI, CHAIRMAN OF BOARD SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT 1 J 12 13 14 15 16 ATTEST: (Ja;:!;' a ~d 17 PAT A.
