A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
APPROVING THE PENSION PLAN ADOPTION AGREEMENT
FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South
7 Tahoe Public Utility District, County of El Dorado, State of
8 California, as follows:

WHEREAS, the South Tahoe Public Utility District
10 Pension Plan, hereinafter referred to as the Plan, has been
II established for the benefit of the South Tahoe Public Utility
13 WHEREAS the Board of Directors desires the Plan be in
12 District employees; and
14 conformance with Section 401(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of
15
1986.
16 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors
17 of South Tahoe Public Utility District, a public agency in the
18 County of EI Dorado, State of California as follows:

The Board of Directors adopts the attached Plan
20 Adoption Agreement establishing the Plan for the District' s
21 employees; and
22 The attached Plan Adoption Agreement,. re-states and
23 supersedes all previous Adoption Agreements since the Plan's
24 inception on July 1, 1968.
25 The Board of Directors authorizes the Plan Trustees to
26 prepare a Plan Document and Summary Plan Descriptions in a form
27 consistent with the approved Adoption Agreement and in compliance
28 with the Section 401(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.

For the purposes of the limitations on contributions
4 and benefits under the Plan, prescribed by Section 415 of the
5 Internal Revenue Code of 1986, the "limitation year" shall be the
6 Plan year.
7 The Board of Directors further authorizes the General
8 Manager to execute the Plan Adoption Agreement and the Plan
9 Document.
10 The Plan Trustees of the District shall act as soon as
11 possible to notify the employees of the District of the adoption
12 of the revised Pension Plan by delivery to each employee a copy
13 of the summary plan description.
14 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duly held Regular Meeting of
15 the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District
16 on the 16th day of December, 1993 by the following vote:
17 AYES: Directors Wallace, Mason, Mosbacher, Jones, Strohm
J 8 NOES: None
