RESOLUTION NO. 2640
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING APPLICATION FOR
GRANTS FOR PUBLICLY OWNED WASTEWATER
TREATMENT WORKS AND PROVIDING
CERTAIN ASSURANCES
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District that the General Manager and/or Assistant Manager and/or Finance Officer
are hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District an application for funds from the United States Environmental
Protection Agency, Region IX, Clean Water Act, Section 104(b)(3) and any agreements
or other documents necessary to secure and receive a grant for planning and design
associated with the South Tahoe Public Utility District's export pipeline replacement
12 project.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the South Tahoe Public Utility District
14 hereby agrees and further does authorize the aforementioned representatives to certify
15 that all applicable state and federal statutory and regulatory requirements shall be
16 complied with.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duly held regular meeting of the Board of
18 Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District on December 19, 1996, by the following
