RESOLUTION NO. 2678-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
ADOPTING THE SEWER ENTERPRISE FUND APPROPRIATIONS
SUBJECT TO LIMITATION AND PROCEEDS OF TAXES FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1997-98
WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have elected to approve
Constitutional Amendment XIIIB, and the Legislature of the State of California has voted
to adopt Senate Bill No. 1352, which implements Constitutional Amendment XIIIB, setting
the method of computing annual appropriations subject to limitation of local non-
9 residential construction and population; and
10 WHEREAS, the Directors selected the change in per capita personal income; and
11 WHEREAS, such legislation sets the base year for this computation as Fiscal Year
12 1978-79; and
13 WHEREAS, such legislation requires documentation setting such appropriation
..., 14 limitations shall be available to the public fifteen days prior to the adoption of this
15 resolution; and
16 WHEREAS, on May 26, 1998, such documentation was made public;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the South
18 Tahoe Public Utility District does find and declare that the appropriations subject to
19 limitation for the Fiscal Year 1998-99 are: $21,316,762; and that for Fiscal Year 1998-
20 99, the proceeds of taxes as defined in the enabling statues are: $3,284,000; and that
21 the increase in proceeds of taxes over the appropriations subject to limitations is: $-0.
22 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duly held Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors
23 of the South Tahoe Public Utility District on the 18th day of June, 1998 by the following
24 vote:
