A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONSENT OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF EL DORADO, TO UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ACQUISITION ~ND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE COSTS SHALL BE ASSESSED UPON THE DISTRICT BENEFITED, UNDER APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1960-3 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California,,that WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to m~dertake appropriate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the acquisition and construction of sanitary sewers in or for said District, more particularly set forth in the description of the work hereto attached; WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to assess the costs of said acquisitions and improvements and the expenses in- cidental thereto upon a district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of which are more particularly set forth in the bound- ary description hereto attached; and W}~{EREAS, the public interest and convenience will be served by the mahing of aid acquisitions and improvements and the levying of said assessments; NOW, TIIEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. ~at request be, and the same is hereby, made that the Board of Supervisors of the Cotmty of E1 Dorado, being the legis- lative body having jurisdiction of the territory in which said work is to be done and said assessments are to be levied, grant to t~s Board its consent, expressed by resolutio~ to order the acquisition and construction of said sewers in the whole or any part of the streets in or for said District and to provide that the costs may be assessed upon the propertie~ benefited thereby. 2. That said Board, in said resolution, grant to this Board its consent to open all such public streets as are required for the installation of said sewers, said work to be done under the direction of the Engineer of Work, and to the satisfaction of the Road Col'muissioner of said County, and in conformity with good engineering practice. Said Engineer shall require of the con- tractor that all of the provisions of the specifications approved by this Board be complied with to the end that no greater amount of ditches are opened at any time than is necessary, that they shall be adequately lighted and barricaded, that they shall be promptly backfilled, and that the surface of the streets shall be restored with materials of like quality and character as those existing therein at the time of such work, and to its former condition and state of usefulness as nearly as may be. 3. That the Clerk of this District be, and he is hereby, directed to file with the County Clerk of E1 Dorado County a certified copy of this resolution. -2- 6(a) The installation and construction of a sewer system includ- ing to 18-inch collection sewers, force mains, manholes, flushing devices, rodholes, wye branches and house laterals on the following streets, roads and easements: 1. State Line Avenue from Lakeshore Boulevard to the Southeasterly line of Assessment District 1960-3~ 2o Poplar Street from Manzanita Avenue to the Southeasterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; 3. Aspen Street from Manzanita Avenue to the Southeasterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; 4. Willow Street from Manzanita Avenue to the Southeasterly line of Assessment District 1960-3. 5. Park Avenue from Lake Shore Boulevard to the South- easterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; 6. Hill Road from Lake Shore Boulevard to Tamarack Avenue. 7. Lakeview Road from Hill Road to the Southwesterly line of Assessment District 1960-3~ 8. Greenwood Road from Hill Road to Park Avenue; 9. Meadow Road from Park Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; !0. Tamarack Avenue from State Line Avenue to Park Avenue; 11. Tamarack Road from Park Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; 12. Spruce Road from Park Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; 13. Pine Boulevard from State Line Avenue to Park Avenue; 14. Pine Road from Park Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Assessment District 1960-3; 15. Manzanita Avenue for its entire length; and 16. Cedar Avenue for its entire length. (b) The making of all acquisitions and the performing of all work auxiliary to any of the above necessary to complete the same. Portions of Sections 27 and 34, T. 13 N., R. 18 E., M. D. B. & M., E1 Dorado County, California. Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 1, Block A, First Subdivision of Lakeside Park, as recorded in Book A of Maps, Page No. A, E1 Dorado County Records; thence North 19° 45' East 50 feet, more or less, to the North line of State Line Avenue; thence along said North line, East to the California- Nevada State Line; thence along said State Line South 48° 21' East to the most Northerly corner of Assessment District 1952-1; thence along the Northwesterly line of said Assessment District, Southwesterly to the line between Monaghan and Tahoe Meadows; thence along said line North 44° 15' West to the Southeasterly side of Pine Road~ thence along said Southeasterly side North 30° 28' 30" Ea~,,395 feet, more or less, to a point which bears South 44° 54' East from the most Southerly corner of Lot 34 Page No. 31; of Lakeside Lodge, as recorded in Book A of Maps, at thence North 44° 54' 52" West 40 feet, more or less, to said Southerly corner; thence along the Southwesterly line of Lakeside Lodge the following courses: North 44° 54' 52" West 708.14 feet; thence North 57° 32' 30" West 472.57 feet to the most Westerly corne~0,~f Lot 3, Lakeside Lodge; thence continuing North 57° 32' West to the South shore of Lake Tahoe as it existed in 1958; thence along said South shore, Northerly to the intersection of the Northerly projection of the Northeasterly side of Park Avenue; thence along said projection and said Northeasterly side South 61° 00' East to the Northwesterly line of Lakeview Road~ thence along said Northwesterly llne North 19° 45' East to the Southerly line of Hill Road; thence along said Southerly line North 87° 15' West to the Easterly line of Lakeshore Boulevard; thence along said Easterly line North 19° 45' East to the point of beginning.
