RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION DETEREINING TO UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS
PURSUANT TO APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSEENT AND
ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS OR OTHER APPROPRIATE PRO-
CEEDINGS, FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION
OF A SANITARY S~ERAGE SYSTEM AND APPURTENANCES
WITHOUT PROCEEDINGS UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE
SANITARY SEWERAGE PROJECT NO. 1961-1
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe
?ublic Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS, the County Health Officer of the County of E1
Dorado has recommended to this Board as necessary as a health
measure, which recommendation was given in writing and signed
by him, that it undertake appropriate special assessment and
assessment bond proceedings for the acquisition and construction
of a sanitary sewerage system in said District all as more par-
ticularly described as follows:
WHEREAS, the cost of said project will be assessed upon
the district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of ~hich
are the coterminous exterior boundaries shown on the map thereof
on file in the office of the Clerk of said District;
WHEREAS, the acquisitions and improvements are described as
follows:
(a) The installation and construction of a sewer system
including six to twenty-four inch collection sewers, force mains,
manholes, flushing devices, rodholes, wye branches and house lat-
erals on the following streets, roads and easements:
Glenwood Way from Pioneer Trail to a point opposite the north-
west corner of Lot 9 of Bijou Park Acres Addition No. l; Gilmore
Lake Road from Woodland Road to a point opposite the northeast
corner of Lot 9 of Bijou Park Acres Addition No. l; Susie Lake Road
in its entirety; Angora Lake Road from the southeast boundary of
Bijou Park Acres Subdivision Tract ll? to a point opposite the north
corner of Lot 15 of Bijou Park Acres Subdivision Tract llT; Freel
Peak Road in its entirety; Tamarack Road from a point opposite the
north corner of Lot I of Bijou Park Acres Subdivision Tract ll?,
northeasterly to a point 150 feet northeast of Freel Peak Road;
Dick Lake Road, Woodland Road, Walkup Road, Echo Lake Road, Fallen
Leaf Lake Road, Cascade Lake Road and Star Lake Road for their full
lengths; Pioneer Trail from a point opposite the southwest corner
of Lot 40 of Rancho Bijou Unit 3 to a point northeasterly 150 feet
from Freel Peak Road; Becka Drive, Bruce Drive.~ Janet Drive, Plum
Street, Apple Street, Jackson Court, Allen Rae Place, Andy Joe
Circle, Bode Drive, Anne Street, June Drive, Edna Street, Ralph
Drive, and Norma Street for their entire lengths; Victor Street
from Lester to Greenwood Way; and Price Road from Pioneer Trail
to a point 150 feet easterly of Pioneer Trail.
(b) The making of all acquisitions and the performing of
all work auxiliary to any of the above which may be necessary to
complete the same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as
follows:
1. That a copy of said Health Officer's letter be spread
upon the minutes of this meeting.
2. That said proceedings so proposed to be undertaken by
this Board for the acquisition and construction of said sanitary
sewerage system are necessary as a health measure.
3. That the provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and
Highways Code are herebE dispensed with and no longer apply to
said proceedings.
