FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
fTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a notice to
contractors for sealed proposals for construction of a public utility
works for the Bijou Force Main; said notice to contractors to be in
the form of Exhibit A Attached hereto and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of
Directors of the SOUTH TAHOE PIIBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT on October 21, 1965,
by the following vote:

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed Proposals will be received at the Office of the Clerk, South Tahoe
Public Utility District, Treatment Plant, Tahoe Valley, California, until
2:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, Monday, November 15, 1965, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read for construction of:
BIJOU FORCE MAIN
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
The work contemplated consists of the installation of approximately 12,400
lineal feet of concrete cylinder pipe, air reliefs, blowoffs and other appurte-
nances.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of
California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the general
applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shown in the Contract Documents.
Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be obfained at
the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates, Post Office Box 2088, 1525 Court
Street, Redding, California, upon deposit of $20.00 per set. Contract
Documents are available for examination at' the same office.
No Proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who has no t been licensed
in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, Statutes of 1929, as
amended, or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all
Proposals.
