A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS OF
SECONDARY EFFLUENT POND ADDITION, SOUTH TAHOE
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT 1966 TREATMENT PLANT
EXPANSION - CONTRACT NO. 2.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE
~ifBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a
Advertisement for Bids for sealed proposals for construction of
Secondary Effluent Pond Addition, South Tahoe Public Utility
District 1966 Treatment Plant Expansion - Contract No. 2, said
advertisement for bid to be in the form of Exhibit A attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of
Directors of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ON March 17,
1966, by the following vote:

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed Proposals will be received at the office of the Clerk, South Tahoe
Public Utility District, Treatment Plant, Tahoe Valley, E1 Dorado County,
California, until 2:00 p.m., Pacific Standard time, April 7, 1966, atwhich
time they will be publicly opened and read, for construction of
SECONDARY EFFLUENT POND ADDITION
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT.
1966 TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION - CONTRACT NO. 2
The work contemplated consists of clearing and grubbing approximately
1.0 acre and stripping approximately 2.7 acres of utility district land,
excavation and embankment of approximately 9500 cubic yards for construc-
tion of a new holding pond, the furnishing and installation of about 950
lineal feet of effluent and drainage piping with fittings and appurtenances,
and the modification of existing aeration diversion box.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State
of Cali'fornia, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the
general applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shown on the Contract
Documents.
Contract DoCuments, including Plans and Specifications, may be obtained
at the office of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, P. O. Box AU,
Tahco Valley, California, or Clair A. Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street,
Redding, California, upon deposit of $15.00 per set.
Contract Documents are available for examination at the same offices. No
Proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, Statutes of 1929, as amen-
ded, or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or
all Proposals.
