RESOLUTION NO. 7 4 I
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT EXISTING UTILITIES FOR
SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CANNOT BE OBTAINED AT AS
LOW A COST AS SUCH CAN BE ORIGINALLY ACQUIRED,
CONSTRUCTED AND COMPLETED
MEYERS AREA SEWER PROJECT'
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, this Board has considered the possibility of soliciting
and considering offers for the sale to the District of existing
utilities or utility works of the same character as those proposed to
be acquired and constructed pursuant to Resolution of Intention No.
723, adopted October 6, 1966;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED, ORDERED and DECREED
that there are no existing utilities nor utility works nor portions
thereof for providing sanitary sewerage interceptor and transmission
service to the Meyers Area Sewer Project Zone which would be useful to
the District consistent with efficient and economical procurement and
operation, nor can such be obtained at as low a cost as the proposed
utility and utility works for providing said service to the inhabi-
tants of said Zone can be originally acquired, constructed and com-
pleted by this District.
