RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows~
1. The SOuth Tahoe Public Utility District, herein called
"District," is a public utilities district formed pursuant to the pro-
visions of the Public Utility District Act (Division 7 of the Public
Utilities Code of the State of California).
2. This Board proposes to issue on a date or dates subsequent
to April 24, 1967, subdistrict bonds, as follows~ Improvement District
'No. U-1 Bonds in the amount of $2,7005000o00o Such bonds are to be is-
sued by District under the provisions of Chapter 4 of Part 7 of Divi-
sion. 20 of the Water Code of the State of California, by virtue of
Section 16407 of the Public Utilities Code of the State of California°
The improvement district, which is identified and referred to as "Im-
provement District No. U-1 -- Meyers Area" in the proceedings being had
by this Board with respect thereto, comprises less than the entire ter-
ritory of District.
3. Section 58753 of the District Securities Investigation Law
of 1965 (Chapter 2.5, Division l, Title 6 of the Government Code of
the State of California), provides, in part, that the issuance of sub-
district bonds shall be subject to prior investigation, report and ap-
proval by the California District Securities Commission, herein called
"Commission," whenever a,ll of the conditions set forth in subsections
(a), (b) and (c) thereof are present.
4o There are more than 500 registered voters residing within
the entire South Tahoe Public Utility District°
5o The condition set forth in subsection (a) of Section 58?59
is not present°
6° This Board hereby determines that the issuance of the sub'
district bonds set forth in Section 2 hereof is not subject to prior
investigation, report and approval by Commission°
?o The Secretary is directed to file a certified copy of this
resolution with Commission at least fourteen (14) days prior t° date
of the issuance of the bonds°

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Treasurer of E1 Dorado County
and ex officio Treasurer of the South Tahoe Public Utility District
has advanced the maturity on the foregoing bonds to January 2, 1979.
You are further notified that you may, prior to the da~e of
advanced ~aturity, surrender said bonds and receive the principal
and interest thereon to the date of payment together with the
premium thereon equal to 5 percent of the principal. If the bonds
have not been sooner surrendered on the date herein fixed for
advanced maturity~ there will be set aside to your credit the amount
of principal and accrued interest then due on the bonds together
· with a premlum of 5 percent of the principal, and the bonds shall
then be deemed to have matured and interest shall cease to accrue on
the bonds. The amount so ~et aside will be paid to the holders or
owners of the bonds upon de~and and upon the surrender and
cancellation of the bonds.
