A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY
HEALTH OFFICER OF EL DORADO COUNTY
RECOMMEND APPROPRIATE PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A
SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND APPURTE-
NANCES AS NECESSARY AS A HEALTH MEASURE
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. U-1 OF
THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
MEYERS AREA
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to under-
take proceedings pursuant to Section 16407 of the Public
Utilities Code of the State of California, for the forma-
tion of an improvement district and the acquisition and
construction of a sanitary sewerage system in and for said
improvement district, said acquisitions and improvements
being more particularly hereinafter described;
WHEREAS, the exterior boundaries of the proposed
improvement district are shown on a map on file in the
office of the Secretary of this District, which map shall
govern for all details as to the extent of the proposed
improvement district, and to which reference is hereby
made;
WHEREAS, said acquisitions and improvements are
more particularly described as follows:
(a) Upper Truckee River Force Main.and Trunk Sewer. System
The construction of a system of main trunk sewers,
manholes and appurtenances, together with pumping
stations and force mains as required, from the
South Tahoe Public Utility District Sewage Treatment
Plant generally southwesterly to and along the
Upper Truckee River to a point near the southerly
boundary of Section 32, T 12 N, R 18 E.
(b) Angora Creek Trunk Sewer System
The construction of~a system of main trunk sewers,
manholes and appurtenances generally along Angora
Creek from the Upper Truckee River Trunk Sewer,
with a connecting facility running northerly to
Lake Tahoe Boulevard between Tahoe Mountain Road
and Sawmill Road.
(c) Meyers Trunk Sewer System

The construction of a system of main trunk sewers,
manholes and appurtenances generally along U. S.
Highway 50, from the Upper Truckee River Trunk
Sewer southerly to Apache Avenue.
Trout Creek Trunk Sewer System
The construction of a system of main trunk sewers,
manholes and appurtenances, together with a pumping
station and force main at and on the Treatment
Plant site, from the South Tahoe Public Utility
District Sewage Treatment Plant generally southerly
and generally along Trout Creek to and continuing
southerly and southwesterly along Saxon Creek to
the easterly boundary of the area 'hereinafter
described.
Branch Systems
The construction of branch trunk lines, manholes
and appurtenances at intervals alongthe Upper
Truckee River Trunk Sewer and the Meyers Trunk
Sewer to provide main trunk connections to various
developments which have collection sewers installed
and in place.
(f) Auxiliar~
The acquisition of all lands, easements, facilities,
rights and rights of service and use and the con-
struction of all work auxiliary to any of the above
and necessary to complete same.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that request be, and
the same is hereby, made of the County Health Officer of
E1 Dorado County that he recommend said proceedings as
necessary as a health measure.
