RESOLUTION NO. 9 1 4
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS
PURSUANT TO APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND AS-
SESSMENT BOND ACTS OR OTHER APPROPRIATE PROCEEDINGS~
FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY
SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND APPURTENANCES WITHOUT PROCEED-
INGS UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1967-5
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS, the Health Officer of E1 Dorado County and Ex-Officio
Health Officer of the City of South Lake Tahoe has recommended to
this Board as necessary as a health measure, which recommendation
was given in writing and signed by him, that it undertake appro-
priate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the
acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage system in said
District, said acquisitions and improvements being more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached and incorporated herein
by reference;
WHEREAS, the cost of said project will be assessed upon the
district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of which are
the coterminous exterior boundaries of the composite and consoli-
dated area more particularly shown on the map thereof on file in
the office of the Clerk of said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as
follows:
lo That a copy of said Health 0fficer~s letter be spread
upon the minutes of this meeting.
2o That said proceedings so proposed to be undertaken by
this Board for the acquisition and construction of said sanitary
sewerage system are necessary as a health measure.
3. That the provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and
Highways Code are hereby dispensed with and no longer apply to said
proceedings.

A. The installation and construction of a sanitary
sewer system, including collection sewers, necessary pump-
ing stations and force mains, manholes, flushing devices,
rodholes, wye branches, laterals and appurtenances in
Freel Peak Avenue from Tulare Avenue northerly to its
intersection with Los Angeles Avenue, in Tulare Avenue,
Bigler Avenue, Cave Rock Avenue, Star Lake Avenue, Cold
Creek Avenue and Trout Creek Avenue from Freel Peak Ave-
nue easterly to Harrison Avenue, in Los Angeles Avenue
from a point westerly of Freel Peak Avenue easterly to
Harrison Avenue, and in Harrison Avenue from Tulare Ave-
nue northerly to a point northerly of Los Angeles Avenue,
and in such public utility easements as may be necessary
to serve all of the parcels in the assessment district,
and together with any extensions required to connect to
existing sanitary sewer lines of South Tahoe Public
Utility District;
B. The acquisition within said boundaries of a
right of service and use in the existing sanitary sewer-
age and sewage treatment and disposal facilities of said
District which help provide service to and which are of
benefit to the properties within said area;
C. The acquisition of all facilities, lands and
easements and the construction of all work auxiliary to
any of the above and necessary to complete the same.
