RESOLUTION NO. 867
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER
OF EL DORADO COUNTY RECOMMEND PROCEEDINGS UNDER APPRO-
PRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS,
OR OTHER APPROPRIATE PROCEEDINGS~ FOR THE ACQUISITION
AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND
APPURTENANCES~ AS NECESSARY AS A HEALTH MEASURE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1967-5
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to undertake pro-
ceedings pursuant to appropriate special assessment and assessment
bond acts for the acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage
system in and for said District, said acquisitions and improvements
being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached and
incorporated herein by reference;
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to make the costs
and cxpenses of said~o~,~sitions~ ...................... and ~mprov~m~nt~ ~g~b]~ upon
an assessment district, the exterior boundaries of which are the co-
terminous exterior 'boundaries of the composite and consolidated area
more particularly shown on a map thereof, which indicates by a
boundary iine the extent of the territory included in the proposed
district and which shall govern for all details as to the extent of
the assessment district, to which reference is hereby made;
NOW., THEREFORE~ IT IS ORDERED, that request be, and the same
is hereby, made of the County Health Officer of E1 Dorado County,
and ex-officio Health Officer of the City of South Lake Tahoe, that
he recommend said proceedings as necessary as a health measure.

A. The installation and construction of a sanitary
sewer system, including collection sewers, necessary pump-
ing stations and force mains, manholes, flushing devices,
rodholes, wye branches, laterals and appurtenances in
Freel Peak Avenue from Tulare Avenue northerly to its
intersection with Los Angeles Avenue, in Tulare Avenue,
Bigler Avenue, Cave Rock Avenue, Star Lake Avenue, Cold
Creek Avenue and Trout Creek Avenue from Freel Peak Ave-
nue easterly to Harrison Avenue, in Los Angeles Avenue
from a point westerly of Freel Peak Avenue easterly to
Harrison Avenue, and in Harrison Avenue from Tulare Ave-
nue northerly to a point northerly of Los Angeles Avenue,
and in such public utility easements as may be necessary
to serve all of the parcels in the assessment district,
and together with any extensions required to connect to
existing sanitary sewer lines of South Tahoe Public
Utility District;
B. The acquisition within said boundaries of a
right of service and use in the existing sanitary sewer-
age and sewage treatment and disposal facilities of said
District which help provide service to and which are of
benefit to the properties within said area;
C. The acquisition of all facilities, lands and
easements and the construction of all work auxiliary to
any of the above and necessary to complete the same.
