That he is a citizen of the United States and over the age of
twenty-one years;
That at the instance of and for and on behalf of the District
Secretary of the South Tahoe Public Utility District he posted
copies of Resolution No. 865, A Resolution Initiating Proceedings
For Annexation of Territory to Improvement District No. U-1 of the
South Tahoe Public Utility District, pursuant to said Resolution
No. 865 adopted by the Board of Directors of said District on
July 6, 1967, in three public places within each of the separate
areas proposed to be annexed at least two weeks prior to the
public hearing; that said posting was fully completed on the 27th
day of JULY , 1967; that a copy of said Resolution No.
865 is hereto attached, marked E×hibit "A", and by reference made
a part hereof; that the three public places within each of the
separate areas where the posting was made is set forth in Exhibit
"B" hereto attached and by reference made a part hereof.

A RESOLUTION INITIATING
PROCEEDINGS FOR
ANNAXATION OF TERRITORY
TO IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. U-1 OF THE
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT
ANNEXATION NO. 1967-l-U-1
Resolved by the Board of
Directors of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1 Do-
rado County, California, asfol-
lows:
1, That proceedings for the
annexation of the areas herein-
after described to Improvement
District No. U-1 of the South
Tahoe Public Utility District
l!ave been initiated by this
Board, by means of this resol-
ution, pursuant to Article
comprising Sections 72700 to
72711, inclusive, of Chapter 1
of Par~ 11 of Division 20, of the
Water Code of the State of
California, which is applicable
to public utility districts by vir-
tue of Section 16407 of the
Public Utilities Code of the
Stale of California.
2. That the reason for pro-
posing the annexation is thai
this Board, pursuant to the
written recommendations of
the Health Officer of the County
of E1 Dorado, has initialedpro-
ceedings to provide sewage col-
lection facilities within the
areas proposed to be annexed,
which facilities will c~nect to
the major trunk sewer and pum-
ping system of Improvement
District No. &-I for ultimate
disposal through the facilities
of the District, and said areas
should become re'sponsible for
the obligalionsof said Improve-
ment District through an-
nexation at the same time as the
facili~iss and assets of said Im-
provement District become
available to them for use.
3. That a description of the
areas proposed to be annexed is
hereby set forth by reference to
a map showing the boundaries
of said areas, designated "Map
Showing Boundaries of Areasto
be Annexed to Improvement
District No. U-1 of the South
Tahoe Public Utility Dis~rict,
Annexation No. 1967-l-U-1", on
file with the Secretary of the
District, which map shall
govern for all details as to the
extent of the area proposed to
be annexed.

conditions of the annexation;
provided, that those terms and
conditions established in con-
nection with the annexation of
said areas to the public utility
district, are in no way affected
by this annexation to said

5. That the holders of title to
any of the lands sought to be
annexed may file written pro-
tests with the Secretary to the
annexation or the annexation
upon such terms and conditions.
6. That Thursday, August 10,
1967, at the hour of 8:00o'clock
p.m., at the regular meeting
place of said Board, Council
Chambers, City Hall, South
Lake Tahoe, California, are
hereby fixed as the time and
place of the meeting at which
[he Board will receive written
protests theretofore filed with
the Secretary, received addit-
ional written protests, and hear
from any and all persons in-
re. rested in the annexation.
7. That the Secretary is here-
by directed to cause the text
of this resolution to bepublish-
ed once a week for two succes-
sive weeks in the Tahoe Daffy
Tribune a newspaper printed
and published in the District,
and to be posted in three pub-
lic places within each of the
separate areas proposed to be
annexed at least two weeks
prior to the hearing.
8. That the Secretary shall
also cause copies of this res-
olution to be mailed, postage
prepaid, to all persons own-
ing real property within the
boundaries of said areapropos-
ed to be annexed whose names
and addresses appear on the last
equalized county assessment
roll (including the roll of Stale
assessed property) or are
known to the Secretary, said
mailing to be completed at least
fifteen (15) days prior to the
date fixed for hearing.

A RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY TO IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. U-1 OF THE
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT.
ANNEXATION NO. 1967-1-U-1
Resolved by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility
District, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
1. That proceedings for~he annexation of the areas hereinafter
described to Improvement District No. U-1 of the South Tahoe Public Utility
District have been initiated by this ~ Board, by.means of this resolution,
pursuant to Article 2, comprising Sections 72700 to 72711, inclusive, of Chapter 1
of Part 11 of Division 20, of the YVater Code of the State of California, which is
applicable to public utility districts by virtue of Section 16407 of the Public
Utilities Code of the State of California.
2. That the reason for proposing the annexation is that this Board,
pursuant to the written recommendations of the Health Officer of the County of
E1 dorado, has initiated proceedings to provide sewage collection facilities
within the areas proposed to be annexed, which facilities will connect to the
major trunk sewer and pumping system of Improvement District No. U-1 for
ultimate disposal through the facilities of the District, and said areas should
become responsible for the obligations of said Improvement District through
annexation at the same time as the facilities and assets of said Improvement
District become available to them for use.
3. That a description of the areas proposed to be annexed is hereby set
forth by reference to a map showing the boundaries of said areas, designated
