A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
CALLING FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A
PLTBLIC UTILITY WORKS - DISPOSAL FACILITIES-
INDIAN CREEK DAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a not[ce to contractors
for sealed proposals for construction of Disposal Facilities - Indian Creek
Dam, consisting of an earth and rockfill dam with necessary appurtenances,
said notice to contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof, o
2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said
District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the treatment plant thereof
(Mailing Address = P.O.Box .A U, South Lake Tahoe,California, 95705),
until 2:00 P.M., on [une 22, 1967, at which time all proposals shall be
publicly opened and read.
3. That the effective date of this resolution shall commence on
receipt of approval of final specifications and plans from the United States
Department of the Interior, Federal Water Pollution Control Administration.
PASSED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the board of Directors
of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT on the 18th day of 1VL~Y,

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed Proposals will be received at the office of the South Tahoe Public Utility
District, located at the Treatment Plant, South Lake Tahoe, California (mailing
address, P. O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, ElDorado County, California 95705),
until 2:00 P.M., June 22, 1967, at which time they will be publicly opened and
read for construction of:
INDIAN CREEK DAM AND RESERVOIR
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
The work contemplated consists of constructing an earth fill Main Dam, about
71 feet high and having a volume of about 269,300 cubic yards, and an earth fill
Saddle Dam, about 28 feet high and having a volume of about 50,400 cubic yards,
with spillway, outlet works, reservoir construction and necessary appurtenances.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of
California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the general
applicable prevailing wage rates to be in accordance with the minimum wage rate
determination of the Secretary of Labor, United States Government for this project.
Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be inspected at
the following locations: South Tahoe Builders Exchange, Highway 89, Tahoe
Valley; the Reno Builders Exchange, 310 South Wells Avenue, Reno, Nevada; the
Builders Exchange, 850 South VanNess Avenue, San Francisco; the Builders
Exchange, 711 24th Street, Bakersfield; the Builders Exchange, 1331 "T" Street,
Sacramento; the Office of the Clerk, South Tahoe Public Utility District, andthe
office of Clair A~ Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street, Redding, California.
Copies may be obtained at the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates upon payment
of $15.00 per set, non-refundable.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive
Order No. 11114 and the provisions of Executive Order No. 10925 as included
therein° The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are
explained in the Contract Documents.
No Proposal will be accepted from the Contractor who has not been licensed in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, Statutes of 1929, as amended,
or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all
