BLIND -FLANGE CAPPING SHALL BE UTILIZED WHERE POSSIBLE. ALL EXPOSED CORPORATION STOPS ON THE EXISTING WATER MAINS ARE TO BE LEFT IN PLACE IN THE CLOSED POSITION. FOR CORPORATION STOPS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN EXPOSED, THE CAPPING OF THE END OF THE SERVICE LINE USING AN APPROVED COMPRESSION FITTING SHALL BE ACCEPTABLE.
