Aside from 28 small commercial accounts - gas stations, offices, and the like - all water is supplied to domestic customers through the utility's distribution system. 21. This utility belongs to the South Shore Water Purveyor's Association, consisting of all water purveyors in the El Dorado County section of Lake Tahoe. The Association has an ongoing conservation effort - consisting of envelope stuffers, posters, school programs, radio announcements, and leak detection programs. 29. Reclaimed water use for domestic purpose is prohibited in this area by the State Department of Public Health and other State and Bi State agencies which require export of all used waters.
