12. REMARKS
Subsequent to making application for diversion and storage as
described in this permit, the lands on which the application was
predicated are no longer available at _a reasonable cost. There-
fore the Company has contacted El Dorado National Forest to start
negotiations for a new Forest Service site up stream. A meeting
was scheduled for June 1967 with the proper Forest Service officers.
Discussions were held and field trip planned but due to heavy
schedules, all field trips were not completed before snow fall.
As soon as favorable arrangements can be made, the Company plans
to submit application through counsel to request the Board to
allow the Company to move the proposed diversion and storage
upstream to the new site.
