A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING
FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED
PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TREATMENT
PLANT ADDITIONS, SCHEDULE "N", AMMONIA
STRIPPING TOWER.
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT, El Dorado County, California, as follows:
1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for Notice to Contractors
for sealed proposals for construction of TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS,
SCHEDULE "N", AMMONIA STRIPPING TOWER, consisting of furnishing
and installing complete AMMONIA STRIPPING TOWER, said Notice to
Contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said District
in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the Treatment Plant thereof (Mailing
Address: P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California, 95705), until
2:00 P.M. on NOVEMBER 21, 196Y, at which time all proposals shall be
publicly opened and read.
PASSED and Adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT on the 19th day of OCTOBER, 1967 ,
by the following vote:

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed Proposals will be received at the office of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, located at the Treatment Plant, South Lake Tahoe, California,
(Mailing Address: P.O Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, E1 Dorado County,
California 9570S) until 2:00 P.M., November 21, 1967, at which time they
will be publicly opened and read for construction of:

AMMONIA STRIPPING TOWER
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
The work contemplated consists of furnishing and installing complete Ammonia
Stripping Tower.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of
California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the general
applicable prevailing wage rates to be in accordance with the minimum wage
rate determination of the Secretary of Labor, United States Government, for
this project.
Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications may be inspected at
the District office and at the office of Clair A, Hill & Associates, 1525 Court
Street, Redding, California. Copies may be obtained at the office of Clair A.
Hill & Associates upon payment of $15.00 per set, non-refundable.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive
Order No. 11114 and the provisions of Executive Order NOo 10925 as included
therein. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are
explained in the Contract Documents.
No Proposal will be accepted from the Contractor who has not been licensed in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 391; Statutes of 1929, as amended,
or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all
Proposals.
