Resolution No. 931RESOLUTION NO. 931 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON. SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED by the Boa~-d of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows: 1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for Advertisement for Bids for sealed oroposals for Granular Activated Carbon, consisting of furnishing 121 tons of granular activated carbon, said Advertisement for bids to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached he~-eto and made a Dart hereof. 2. Said sealed Droposals shall be ~-eceived at the office of said District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the Treatment Plant thereof (Mailing Address- P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California, 95705), until 3:00 P.M. on November 2, 1967, at which time all proposals shall be ,.oublicly opened and read. CALLAHAN, Clerk and Ex- Officio Secretary SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the Clerk, South Tahoe Public Utility District, Treatment Plant, South Lake Tahoe, California (mailing address, P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California), until 3:00 p.m. , Thursday, November 2, 1967, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for furnishing materials as follows: GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT The work consists of furnishing 121 tons of granular activated carbon. Specifications may be examined at the South Tahoe Public Utility District office, Treatment Plant, South Lake Tahoe, California, or at Clair A. Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street, Redding, California. A copy of said Specifications may be obtained from either office upon request. NONDISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11114 and the provisions of Executive Order No. 10925 as included therein. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the Specifications. The South Tahoe Public Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
