BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH
TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, California, as
follows:
1. Article VIII, Sec. 8.2 Application for Permi~ of
Ordinance No. 24 of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 8.2. Application for Permit. Any person, legall~
entitled to apply for and receive a permit shall make such
application on forms provided by the District for that purpose.
He shall give a description of the character of the work
proposed to be done and the location, ownership, occupancy and
use of the premises in connection therewith. The District may
require plans, specifications or drawings and such other
information as may be deemed necessary.
If the District determines that the plans, specificati¢
drawings, descriptions or information furnished by the applicant
is in compliance with the ordinance, rules and regulations of
the District, it shall issue the Permit applied for upon payment
of the required fees as hereinafter fixed."
An applicant for a Sec. 8.5 (c) commercial or
industrial building sewer connection permit shall execute a
United States Department of Commerce Form EDA-503 (1-66),
Assurances of Compliance with the Department of Commerce
Regulations under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, US
COMM 55&73-P66. With respect to any property served by such

property, and all persons in possession or persons having an
agreement to lease or occupy or improve all or any part of the
property served by such sewer connection,shall have executed
a: United States Department of C~erce Form EDA-503 (]-65),
Assurances of Compliance with the Department of Commerce
Reg~iat~ under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965, US
COMM 55573-P66."
2. Article VIII, Sec. 8.5 Classes of Permits,~.of
Ordinance No. 25 of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 8.5. C~lasses of Permits. There shall be five
classes of per.its, as follows:
(a) Single family residential building
sewer permit.
(b) Multi-family residential,bui~lding sewer
connection permit.
(c) Commercial or industrial bu~,~ing sewer
connection permit.
(d) Public sewer construction permit.
(e) Private sewage disposal permit."
3. This ordinance shall take effect upon the expiration
of thirty (30) days after its passage and shall be posted by the
Clerk of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT at three (3) public
places in said District at least one week before the expiration
of said period after its passage and shall further be published
in the LAKE TAHOE NE~S, a newspaper of general circulation, one
(1) time only, at least one (1) week before the expiration of
said period.

and Ordinance No. 8& passed and adopted by said Board of said
District on May 3, 1962, is hereby ratified, confirmed and in
full force and effect.
PASSED and ADOPTED August 2', 1966, at a duly called
special meeting of the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT by the following vote:
AYES: Directors Hegarty, Fesler, Melikean, Wakeman
and Kortes
NOES: None
