Resolution No. 1057RESOLUTION NO. 1057 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSAZS FOR CONSTRUC- TION OF PARK AVENUE TRUNK SEWER BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows: 1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a Notice to Contractors for sealed proposals for construction of PARK AVENUE TRUNK SEWER, consist- ing of furnishing and installing approximately 2200 lineal feet of 12 inch and 15 inch pipeline with necessary appurtenances, said Notice to Contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the Treatment Plant thereof (Mailing Address P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, California 95705), until 3:00 P.M. on May 2, 1968, at which time all proposals shall be publicly opened and read. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, E1 Dorado County, California 95705) until 3:00 p.m.,May 2, 1968, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for construction of: PARK AVENUE TRUNK SEWER SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT The work contemplated consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,200 lineal feet of 12 inch and 15 inch pipeline with necessary appurtenances. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of California, the South Tahoe Public Utility District has ascertained the general applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shown in the specifications. Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be inspected at the following locations: South Tahoe Builders Exchange, Highway 89, Tahoe Valley; Reno Builders Exchange, 310 S outhWells Avenue, Reno, Nevada; the Office of the Clerk, South Tahoe Public Utility District, and the office of ClairA. Hill and Associates, 1525 Court Street, Redding, California. Copies may be obtained at the office of Clair A. Hill and Associates, for a payment of $5.00, which is not refundable. No proposal will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, Statutes of 1929, as amended, or Chapter 37, Statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
